moving thu the area this is going to be much of a game tonight. we'll have to wait and see what the officials say. temperatures are in the 70s. 72 at the airport. no surprise there with all the rain coming down. let's look at the radar. you can see these pockets of rain. you have been socked. the forecast models had the duls eye over dover. it wound up over all of you. in philadelphia, you can see steady rain. i'm going to put it in motion. it's not moving out. we kind of see it building in around the area. that's the focal point for all these showers. let's start here first. now it isn't going to continue once the rain lelts u up. that's a very heavy rainfall. it's really pouring down.

people who overdose. trends of her father are surprised. >> he's a great father. he's always with his daughter. he always took care of her. >> the baby's father is charge ed with assault and endangering the welfare of a child. police are arrest three people after a heroin bust. investigators seized 6700 worth of heroin. a delaware dance instructor is facing charges he had unlawful sexual contact with an underage student. police say the 65-year-old engaged in a sex act with a male student last month. the dover police department says the suspect is known to travel to various dance schools to provide lessons. he's awaiting extradition from new york. in delaware, a firefighter

was hurt while trying to put out a row of town home fires. the flames broke out here on paisley street damaging six units. we're working to learn the extent of his injury. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. we now know the name of a philadelphia man who drown while swimming in a delaware river on the fourth of july. authorities say the 27-year-old was pulled under by the river current near washington crossing park in bucks county. he was swimming with his family at the time. crews recovered his body an hour and a laugh later. the search is on for a person who shot and critically injured a man early this morning. officers found the victim on germantown avenue just after midnight. they rushed him to the hospital. we learned he's in extremely critical condition. police say there was no suspect description, no motive or arrests and an investigation is

und underway. a violent ambush caught on camera. a group jumped two men yesterday punching them in the face and taking their cell phones. the suspects were captured on video here from a nearby restaurant. >> robbers kaugt on camera forcing their way through an apartment. it happened last month on red lion road. they were able to grab several item bfrs running off. . the search is on for this man caught on surveillance cameras breaking into the same home twice. police say the second time the suspect brought a handgun and assaulted the homeowner inside. the robberies happened in may. if you have any information, you're asked to call police. a chester county teen killed in a case of road rage will be laid to rest tomorrow. services will be held tomorrow morning in west chchester.

signed. president trump also met with the german chancellor ahead of the g-20 summit. the relationship with angela merkel is tense. they disagree on climate change, immigration policies and european defense spending levels. she discussed their stance on those issues. a growing tension between the united states and north korea. the communist country today held this huge rally to celebrate the test launch of its first ballistic missile. it's the k50i7d of weapon capable of reaching the united states. the navy is and air force held a combined drill this morning in response to this week's missile test. the drill was held in waters off the eastern coast of the korean peninsula and it's the second military exercise to take place

an inch an hour falling when it is falling steadily. that was the rate it was coming down. we have this heavy pocket down here. and then we have a flash flood warning. this has been issued for middleton until 7:30 tonight. this is where we have seen both eyes of 3 to 5 inches of rain. that's radar estimated. the green denotes a flash flood watch. that does include tld. we're going to continue to see this rain overnight before it lets up towards dawn. is the game in danger tonight? quite possibly. they have had a lot of rain at the ballpark. radar estimated, this is the bulls eye. you see the blues and purples is where the heaviest rain has

ride options with uber are coming to philadelphia. the ridesharing app announced the relaunch. it gives wheelchair users the ability to connect with accessible mini vans. more than 70 ride options in the city and drivers have been certified to drive the vans. construction started today on what will become a safe haven for people battling cancer. it will be a place for cancer patients, loved ones and caregivers to stay for free. the home is a vision of delaware county native, a college student who lost his fight with cancer in 2006. . >> so families can stay free of charge and focus on the health of their loved ones. >> this is the head strong foundation's second home in the county. it will provide more than 2500 free nights of stay every year

monday night. police say the casket had an infant's organs in a plastic bag inside. the funeral home director said the remains belonged to a 3 or 4-month-old buried a week ago and a broken latch forced them to switch caskets. it was placed in a a vehicle is and an employee took that vehicle and sometimes during the employee being out with the vehicle, the casket was dumped. >> charges could be filed pending the completion of the investigation. police say the family already held a funeral for the baby. they have been notified about the situation. jacqueline london, nbc 10 news. now a look at the stories making headlines county by county across the region today.

we begin in delaware county. lis solved a a murder case. they are now charged in the death of murry who was shot in february. a serious crash backed up traffic. two people are recovering tonight after a tractor trailer and a car collided. around 8:00 this morning as one of the victims was wheeled into an ambulance. crews had to rip off the roof of the car to get that trapped driver out. a delaware county animal shelter is so crowded it wants to give you two kittens tr the price of one. the animal shelter is so packed. in ocean county six more couples have been charged with theft in a fraud investigation.

a as people headed home, franklin township police say one man was selling drugs at a youth soccer complex. officers caught tyler fuller in that park just after midnight wednesday. investigator says he had 53 bags of heroin, 3 bags of marijuana and crack cocaine. police want to find these two spray painting vandals. . they were caught on surveillance video last tuesday.
