because of the weather. glenn "hurricane" schwartz, big changes are coming. >> we are going to be getting a lot more heat, a lot more humidity and the storms are going to be showing up on radar tomorrow unlike today. we have a first alert out for potential severe storms for the entire area except for the beaches. 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. so it's a narrow time period. most of the day is dry. most of the area is dry. localized wind damage, brief down pours, lightning, possible hail. it's going to feel like it is 95 to 100 by this time tomorrow where it's not raining. you can see it's not raining anywhere in our area right now. western pennsylvania has showers and storms, remnants of that could reach us overnight. there is more back across michigan and around chicago. some of that is what is coming this way for tomorrow. as we go hour by hour we see a

hazing is a huge thing. police say he died after falling down a flight of basement steps in the frat house after a night of heavy drinking in february. no one called 911 for nearly 12 hours. a judge will now decide if this case is going to trial. today nbc 10 learned exclusive new information about the case of road rage that left a chester county high school graduate dead. nbc 10 learned a pizza shop was searched and video equipment taken by police. investigators went there after learning suspect david desper was there in the days after the killing. a search warrant was executed at a home. desper remains in prison. roberson's car ran off route 100. she had been shot in the head. developing tonight, president trump's son donald jr. has hired a lawyer to represent him about a meeting he had with

a russian lawyer. that meeting right after president trump secured the republican nomination. trump jr. acknowledged he did meet with the russian attorney who reportedly promised information damaging to hillary clinton's campaign. trump jr. says he is happy to cooperate if called by congress to defend the meetings. a source tells nbc news the committee does want to talk to him about it. president trump is defending himself after his own meeting with russian president vladimir putin on friday. lawmakers have ridiculed the plan for the two countries to work together to prevent cyber hacking because russia is linked to hacking during the u.s. presidential election. after initially praising the plan the president admits he doubts it will happen. the health care show down is heating up as lawmakers return from their fourth of july break.

protesters rallied outside the offices of several republican offices in washington in an effort to stop the gop health care bill from passing. the bill would effectively repeal obamacare while cutting hundreds of millions of dollars from medicaid. people in new jersey feel disgusted and outraged with their governor. a new poll gauging reaction to chris christie's infamous day at the beach on fourth of july weekend. that beach was closed to the public because of the state's government shutdown. researchers asked people what is the first word that comes to your head when you look at the picture of christie at the beach. seven percent use words like disgusted. seven percent say outraged. six percent use profanity or the word jerk. new tonight for the second consecutive year pennsylvania governor tom wolf will let unbalanced budget become law. the office made the announcement

that he will not sign the budget. the spending plan is under funded by $2 billion. wolf says he will continue to work with leaders in the republican controlled legislature to come up with an agreement. right now at 6:00, drowning dangers. two young girls have died in the last few days after running into trouble in the water. a 6-year-old drowned in a motel pool. and a girl died today after being pulled from a lake at a camp ground last week. ted greenberg explains police want parents everywhere to be warned and be cautious. >> how could nobody where she was? >> reporter: a frantic call concerned about supervision after 6-year-old was found at the bottom of this motel pool in wild wood. >> what happened this weekend was a real tragedy. >> they are trying to give her

cpr. >> reporter: authorities getting calls from help from people at the nantucket inn and suites. she had been staying with relatives. police believe she somehow fell into the deep end but several minutes went by before anyone saw her. efforts to revive the girl were not successful. signs clearly state there is no lifeguard on duty, none required by law. >> check in and let you know there is no guard on duty. >> reporter: the drowning coming two days after a 4-year-old girl was pulled from an unguarded lake at this camp skps rv resort. that child died early this morning. >> you have to be vigilant and keep an eye on your children. we know the way kids are. kids can disappear in an instant. >> reporter: relatives say she loved the water and recently enjoyed her sixth birthday at a pool party. her family is raising money with this go fund me page to help pay for her funeral. >> people need to be more aware

lightning. there is some threat of localized flashed flooding because the storms won't be moving very fast. it will be less of a threat than what we saw last week with the storms which are bigger and not moving. we don't have anything on the radar close by. the stuff in western pennsylvania, remnants of that might hit some parts of the area overnight. we have more up in michigan, down by chicago. that's the part of the system, the front that is coming through late tomorrow. so as we go through the night tonight things are fairly quiet. we saw one or two light showers passing through. tomorrow afternoon it's a different story. there are those thunderstorms building up and during the afternoon rush i would certainly expect at least a few of them around. but you notice not everybody is getting hit. we get a couple in delaware, a couple in burkes county, lehigh valley. one in mercer county and you don't have that much later in

the evening. it's limited time period. it's not the only threat this week. we have another threat on thursday with another front. it feels like 89 now which is hot enough. the highest temperature today was 89. take a look at the future temperatures, the way it will feel tomorrow. by noon it is feeling like 94. 95, 96 in burlington. 5:00 feeling like mid 90s except where it might be raining. it's much cooler. and then on thursday how about this one? some places to 100 degrees or perhaps even higher than that maybe the most uncomfortable day of the season so far. so the next three days that is hot. that is likely heat wave. that 97 thursday. that is close to a record. the suburbs up to 96. another round of thunderstorms coming in on thursday generally dry weather on wednesday and
