bail because authorities consider him a flight risk, but he's not being called a suspect and has not been charged with any crime connected to the search. the family property is about 90 acres. that's about the size of 68 football fields. ask just moments ago, the district attorney talked about the complexity of this investigation. >> take the biggest one and multiply it by a million. that's what we're dealing with here. not just a single property. we have people combing the entire county. >> nbc 10 has coverage of this story making national headlines. >> let's begin our team coverage with deanna durante live where we just got that update from police. >> reporter: the district attorney confirming minutes ago the cadaver dogs have been out on the farm property along with heavy machinery and we have seen investigators sifting through

the dirt with their hands. some forensic evidence has been collected and has been sent to local labs tr testing. all in an effort to help find the four missing men. from the air, the police presence is is easy to spot. crime scene experts are digging with shovels and sifting through the dirt with their hands. there are a half dozen sites of ground. and we have learned police are paying close attention to one of the buildings owned by the parents of the 20-year-old. >> i want to make it very, very clear that mr. dinardo has been arrested on charges that it do not pertain to this case. i will say he's a person of interest in this case. >> he was jailed monday on a gun charge from february. prosecutors asked those charges be reinstated after he was connected to the case of four missing yun men. all who seem to have a

connection to each other and dinar doe. though prosecutors are not yet saying what those connections could be. >> i will confirm at this time that the main site, the property located at 607 lower york road here is owned by the dinardo family. >> the family owns multiple properties in many counties and some say particular interest forensic evidence found on this site. they don't say how that evidence can help them locate the four missing men. >> how can the public help? what we're looking for is information that connects these four men together that may connect them to the property we're searching, connect them to koz moe. i can't say if there is that it type of information. but if there is, i beg of you to please give it to us and let us run it down.

>> the pleas for tips are coming in. multiple tips have led them to where they are today for what they are looking for. also multiple sources said some of the tips put dinardo in the presence of the missing men before they it went missing. now the shot that you can see live from sky force 10 is showing a bulldozer dig up a hole on that farm property. sources say when investigators came to the property, they found a number of soft spots and fresh ground they have focusing their efforts there, but at this point the d.a. says no human remains have been found on this it property. that's the latest reporting live, deanna durante, nbc 10 news. police are asking for your help for any information that would connect the four missing young men to cosmo. our team coverage continues with lauren mayk live working to learn more about dinardo and his past. >> reporter: this scene here today is nothing like you were

just showing. a very quiet neighborhood today. no police presence here. i can tell you there have been cars coming in and out of the delaware nar e dinardo home. a woman said she had had no comment. >> this 20-year-old, and searched b properties owned by the family and he's. >> i think that if somebody is charge d with something and becomes a person of interest, it's fair to say to a judge you have become a greater flight risk. >> the criminal complaint says dinardo was in possession of a shotgun and ammunition. police paperwork says the man

>> tracking thunderstorm its that are popping up in the area. it's too hot as you can see. those isolated storms could bring heavy rain is ask damaging winds, but only some of you will see them. >> glenn schwartz has more on just where the storms could pop up in your most accurate forecast. >> we have one round of storms that are pretty close to the shore. as you can see, other areas very much isolated. so this is the strongest storm now that it we're seeing. this is just about to hit long beach island and it's moving straight to the east. it's pretty heavy. and down to ship bottom and beach haven, you're going to get wet for awhile now this is two to three inches per hour at the peak. there's some lightning there. not a tremendous amount, but the potion is clearly to the skooes that will be moving offshore.

link to russia. >> joining us life this the breaking news center. >> dawn timmeney jr. released a chain of e-mails regarding a meeting last summer with a person he was told was a russian government attorney. >> saying if it's what you say i love it. trump jr. tweeted out the e-mail in an effort to be totally transparent. he added the information they suggested they had about hillary clinton i thought was research. the e-mails came from rob goldstone who represents the son of businessman close to the russian government. the attorney has denied ever acting on be-of the russian government. she addressed the meeting in an exclusive interview with nbc news.

>> had according to the attorney and trump jr., they offered no consequential information on clinton. the woman wanted to talk about other issues such as adoption policy. the e-mail chain tweet came moments before "the new york times" was set to publish those e-mails. live in the breaking news center, erin coleman, nbc 10 news. this now, fire was shooting from the ground on one street in burlington county today. sky force 10 over periwinkle drive. a gas main caught fire around 11:30 this morning. one person was hurt, not seriously though. tensions running high for 18 fraternity members at a pledge for penn state. several loud arguments erupted between the prosecution and defense during the proceedings. the judge called a recess to

regain control. defense attorneys are cross examining on the stand today. this is video of the defendants arriving in court this morning. some accused of involuntary manslaughter. it's all related to the death of tim piazza inside the fraternity house. he died after a night of drinking. prosecutors say members of the frat waited nearly 12 hours to call 911, even though they knew he was su severely injured. it's not clear if the hearing will wrap up today, when it does, the judge will decide if there's enough evidence to send the case to trial. a former music teacher is accused of sending nude photos and videos of himself to students on social media this the lehigh valley. prosecutors say he sent the images to at least three students last year. he resigned from his teaching job at that school in march. lis are investigating three shootings overnight in engineer

germantown. a woman was shot in the back. police believe she was not the intended target. two other incidents, a woman was shot in the foot. all three are expected to sur s survi survive. to the tragedy now in mississippi where a marine refueling jet went down killing 16 service members. you see the fiery wreckage right there. it burned for hours. keith jones is joining us with the latest developments on this. >> his dcondolences to the families. he tweeted today, quote, marine plane crash in mississippi is heartbreaking. melania and i send our deepest condolences to all. president the plane crashed into a soy bean field b monday night. all 16 people ob board were killed. the plane is used for refueling. it was stationed at the marine core air station at cherry point. and spiralled down out of control about 85 miles north of

jackson, mississippi. marines are saying the plane experienced a mishap. the fbi is on the scene today, but it's still unsafe. we don't want anybody it without responders in the area. >> the military confirmed today of the 16 service members killed, 15 were marines. one was a sailor. the names of these victims are being withheld to allow time for families to be notified. keith jones, nbc 10 news. the pennsylvania budget is now law, even though the numbers don't add up. lawmakers return to harrisburg today for another session. the problem is they don't have a plan to fund the budget they passed two weeks ago. the governor did not veto the budget. it puts pennsylvania at risk for another credit downgrade. two boys have admitted their roles in this video taped attack on a disabled man in philadelphia's germantown

neighborhood. after the boys were recorded punching the man as others stood by and laughed. a judge could order the boys to be placed in a treatment facility until they are 21. it's day one of a new venture that let's students earn college credit before ninth grade. the superintendent helped launch it today at the community college of philadelphia. incoming high school students will take classes at the college this summer that will he them work towards an associates degree. . former first lady michelle obama is coming to town. the conference for women today announces obama will speak at the conference this fall. that conference is being held at the pennsylvania convention center in center city in october. it works to promote the influence of women in the workplace and beyond. summer olympics are returning to the u.s., but we'll have to wait to find out when. a group tr los angeles presented its bid to host the 2024 games to the international olympic committee today. l.a. and paris are competing for

the 2024 and 2008 olympics. the olympic committee today decided it's going to award both games in a meeting in september. that decision means both l.a. and paris will host an olympics. the only question is which city will host first.á 20 minutes of nonstop rock news continues with the beach concert series back and ready to rock in atlantic city. crews have been setting the stage for tomorrow's big show with pink. tens of thousands of fans expected to pack the beach over the next few days. >> we're keeping a close eye on the heat and potential storms that could impact the shows. >> first, let's go to it ted greenberg along the boardwalk. a big pink fan. >> reporter: you know i am, jim.

absolutely. we're a little off the boardwalk here on a platform above the beach. and you can see it's still a work in progress here. it takes about ten days to set up everything that you see here. a lot of work still happening up there on the stage. and down here on the beach as well. and in just about 24 hours, this area is going to be packed. the stage almost set for pink to rock the sand in atlantic city. the bucks county native and international superstar expected to draw a huge crowd of 40 to 50,000 tomorrow night to kick off the summer beach concert series. >> it's the only appearance by pink, which is a big deal. she's from the region, which makes it extra special. >> reporter: crews getting ready for the big show. it's the fourth year tr beach concerts in atlantic city.

the shows over the next couple days. there's a chance for thunderstorms in parts of our area tonight. let's get to meteorologist glenn schwartz with more on that. >> we have some storms pretty close to where ted is. he's lucky he's able to get that it live shot because there's a lot of lightning just to the north. you can see much of the area is dry. but they are it getting hit pretty hard at the beaches. atlantic city is down here. we're talking more about long beach island. ship bottom up through harvey cedars is getting the heaviest of this. there's a good bit of lightning farther to the south. beach haven about to get heavier rain. now we have had a couple showers move through the northern suburbs of philadelphia. we have a little bit heavier rain. this is coming into the pocono mountains right now. and it's moving to the east. and that is pretty much it. they are isolated.

futurecast over the next couple of hours, just isolated showers. and then tomorrow we're going to be seeing more heat, more humidity and, again, isolated showers and thunderstorms breaking out. so e we can't say the chance of rain in atlantic city tomorrow is zero. but it's not real high. that's for sure. as we go into tomorrow evening, we see some more isolated showers around. now the biggest problem i think is not necessarily going to be thunderstorms but heat. . that's really going to be building up by thursday. tammie will handle that part. >> pink's show will not be the only hot thing going on. we're already cooking. it's 89 in philadelphia. 90 in wilmington. 84 in allentown. a comfortable 71 at mount pocono. 86 in atlantic city.

look at feels like. it feels like 99 in dover. feels like 93 in philadelphia. and right now atlantic city feels like 95. earlier today it had a feels like of 100 degrees. we're going to start seeing the heat build over the next couple days tomorrow in south philly, we are looking at 93 degrees with a feels like of 97. the pennsylvania suburbs we'll see the 80s and low 90s with feels like in the 90s. take a look at this. we go to the lehigh valley. 80s and 90s with a feels like. let's go to the jersey shore. it's going to feel like the 80s and 90s with a feels like that is going to be between 95 and 100. it gets worse. take a look at this. tomorrow the feels like 99. by thursday, dangerous heat moves in. we have excessive heat watches in it place for that. we could also see strong storms. tell us about that. >> that's the way you end a lot of heat waves with thunderstorms. in this case it's a line of

storms that's likely to come down from the north. here's thursday during the day. and you can see the east/west line coming straight south, starting the afternoon rush and then going into the evening hours. you see some of this that's pretty heavy here. we could get downpours, gusty winds and heavy rain out of this. over the next three days, there's the 99 on thursday. look at the drop on friday. 83 degrees for the high temperature. some parts of the area will be even cooler as you'll see. 98 to 82 for the suburbs. lehigh valley goes 96 to 8 for a high with a good bit of rain on friday. the jersey shore is going to get somewhat of a sea breeze tomorrow. it's going to be even hotter on thursday and then it really. drops on friday. some big changes coming later in the week. >> dress code controversy. >> students at a high school created a stir over a a part of the girl's uniform.

we're going to be dealing with some pretty uncomfortable heat and humidity for the next few days. >> we're keeping an eye on any storm threat headed our way tonight. glenn schwartz has more on who could be in the path of any storm. >> as we were saying at the beginning of the program, long beach island was going to be the target for the first batch. it's right on top of them right now. much of the rest of the area is fairly quiet. this is a pretty heavy thunderstorm that has passed right over harvey scedars, as w were suggesting earlier. ship bottom getting into it too. this part of the storm is weakening and does not have as much lightning as it did 20 minutes ago. as we go farther to the northern and western suburbs, this is upper bucks county. nothing more than a couple little showers. and farther to the west, this is more significant. these are pretty heavy thunderstorms in western maryland moving to the east.

the prosecutor says there's an increase in ransom ware against government organization. rans ransomware infects a computer and can't unlock it until you pay. in atlantic county, people got the chance to weigh in on plans to transform the old trump taj mahal. this morning there was a meeting. they plan to hire thousands of workers. just last week they sold everything off the casino floor in a liquidation sale. residents living near the nuclear generating stations will hear emergency sirens tonight. but this is just a test. the sirens will sound between 7:00 and 8:00 tonight. two months ago, residents got quite a squacare when an alert popped up. it was sent out by accident. potential future owls learned the ropes at temple sports complex this morning. today the athletics department hosted this free day camp for students in yorktown community.

unreleased lyrics. back to your first alert weather, let's take a live look down broad street. this is our campus camera. hot and humid and it's only going to get worse. we're also tracking the chances for stormsen tonight. >> meteorologist glenn schwartz has more on just who could see that rain. >> it's been parts of the jersey shore that's been hit the hardest. and really the radar is pretty quiet across much of the rest of the area. this is the last of the storm moving off lbi. the heavy thunderstorm and lightning is offshore. the last of the rain is ship bottom and down to beach haven and it will be drying out there pretty quickly in the next 15 to 20 minutes. just a couple of isolated small showers across much of the rest of the area.

this is the area we'll be tracking through the evening. that's a severe thunderstorm warning in west virginia actually. and this storm in western maryland, that is moving eastward. we'll see if that holds together by the time it gets here and you can see the futurecast to watch that storm actually weaken. this is just in. there's a new computer model that comes in every hour. and not much overnight tonight. then into tomorrow, we start off dry and then we get the heat and the humidity builds up. and then some of these isolated thunderstorms pop up. this one shows the lehigh valley getting hit the hardest coming through mercer county ask back to the shore again. and other isolated showers and thunderstorms going through the area tomorrow evening. most of ussen don't get hit by it. when you do, you have a brief downpour, some lightning and possibly some hail. but the biggest weather problem we're going to see between now

the low 90s if you head out. look at delaware. we're going to feel like 100 in delaware tomorrow. we're not looking at any relief out there. thursday we have an excessive heat watch already issued. record temperatures are possible that day in the upper 90s. a heat index that could include 105 and may see strong storms and that's why we're going back over to glenn schwartz. >> most of the day on thursday is going to be rain free. the heat and humidity builds up and then as we head toward late in it the day and into the night, we have a front coming down from the north to put an end to the heat wave. but it may very well a line of strong thunderstorms with it. some strong gusty winds. sometimes you end with pretty powerful storms. here we are in the evening. we have rain and thunderstorms. again, this is thursday evening and then we have cooler air
