on in the afternoon with heat and humidity and a lot more before the week is out. more on the timing of that coming up. a woman stabbed and beaten with a hammer. we are live over the scene. police went to a home around 7:00 this morning. found the victim stabbed in the neck and beaten with a hammer. there are no suspects. two women were ambushed and shot to death. >> steven fisher is live in philadelphia with more. what the you tell us? >> we are down here where that shooting took place just after 1 night. detectives asked us not to shoot down the block as they are doing police work. there are a lot of family and friends who gathered here this

morning. we did touch base with the family. they are trying to lean on each other to get through this difficult time. officers found two gunshot victims. the victims are 38 and 19 years ole. each was shot multiple times in the head, neck and torso. we talked to one of the pastors who was here. we'll talk to you about that later. police have not released the victims names. we do expect to have that this evening. n bv nbc 10 news. helping oo shooting victim. they were putting bandages on the person around 9:00 p.m. two of the firemen took cover behind a car. the shooting victim died.

it is going up. it is already 84 degrees in newark. it is 87 in middletown and even higher than that in other parts of delaware. look at this. delaware 91. bethany 95, the hottest place in our entire area bethany beach, delaware. these are the record high temperatures for tomorrow. these are our current forecasts so it looks like several of these are at least tied some of them close to being tied. it was pretty high on tuesday dangerous tomorrow before it drops a little bit on friday.

this is the mid-to upper 90s. then as we go through tomorrow the temperature is up. the humidity is up and you add it all together. there it is in the middle of the afternoon tomorrow feeling like 103 in philadelphia. that is the highest numbers that we have seen so far this season so this is way hotter and way more comfortable than any other day we have seen so far. there is that tiny little shower going through philadelphia and zipping through and zipping right out of there. nothing else to follow for a little while.

s search continued for four messing men. they say although they have not named a suspect in the case they do have a person of interest. cosmo denardo, charges were originally filed over the winter and refiled in the last several days. at 6:30 last night he bailed out of the bucks county prison. they say he is suppose to be staying at a ben salem add dres he listed on his bail documents and all conditions are standard, no special instructions have been given to him. he has been named as a person of interest. one missing man went missing on wednesday. they were last seen on friday. sources say witnesses have pointed to him in the presence of these men they were last

after they got the fire under control they immediately went into action to start getting animals out of the building. we also had the neighbors coming out of their houses. firefighters were pouring out with animals in their harms. animals were putting -- thanks to them we have 98 animals out alive. >> and specks, was he one of the animals that was rescued? >> he was in the fire at the time. he is a great kpafrp. you can see he is read the i to go home. the night of the fire we had to get all of the animals into temporary housing. yesterday afternoon all of the adoptable animals are able to be moved into the regular adoption facility so they day can start getting homes. >> have you ever seen anything like this? >> not that i know of. it really is the worth nightmare

ocean city 87. it is 89 in mays landing. not quite as hot inland but not the usual big break. that ocean temperature dropped nearly 10 degrees in the last couple of days. the feels like forecast, of course this is a critical thing, how it feels, kind of steamy yesterday. getting close to the oppressive level before falling back. this is how it will feel later this afternoon. by tomorrow afternoon we are talking about 100 plus. you can see 104 in wilmington. the highest numbers on this map at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon and we are even 97 degrees in
