twists and turns since he c confessed nearly 240 hours ago. the final body has been full-time. the remains were recovered from a separate location on the farm. so now all four victims have been identified. authorities say all of them were shot. the murder weapons used in the killings have been recovered. today the investigation focused on two locations. doylestown, where both suspects were arraigned, and upper dublin montgomery county where officers searched the home of the second suspect earlier today. we have a team of reporters in lace at each site following every development. >> drugs, guns and money. the district attorney here connected the dots in a week-long mystery and says they have done their best to bring these four men back to their families. >> cosmo dinardo has been charged with the murder of the

four men. >> reporter: the district attorney revealed cosmo dinardo, the main. suspect in the case, had help. on friday killing three of the four men. police say his cousin confessed his role in the robbery and murders of the three men on the farm. >> i feel a lot of sadness and relief. >> police emts and the fbi dug down 12 feet deep expecting to find all of the missing men, they found three on thursday. court papers described the vicious killing. patrick on wednesday didn't see the shots coming. nor did dean, killed on friday in the barn. they both were shot in the head. prosecutors say he stayed with the body. cosmo dinardo went and picked up two more and the two shot them both. thomas meo screamed.

no one made it off the farm alive. the plea deal ask confession made led to the body of patrick, the first to be killed and the last to be found. >> we'd still be locking for jimmy patrick had we not made this it agreement. i rode there in a car on the same site as the other three men were found. it was so far away that i started getting sick to my stomach on the ride. >> reporter: that deal dinardo won't face the death penalty but no deal for kraths. >> the families agreed to the plea agreement. deanna durante, nbc 10 news. >> within the last hour, both cosmo dinardo was arraigned via video. that's where randy gyllenhaal is joining us now live. the details so cold-blooded, so chilling. did the suspects have any sort of reaction during their

arraignment? >> not much, but those details are part of the only reason why neither suspect was granted any bail. those suspects accused of committing these murders as well as covering them up appeared here in front of a a district court judge. it was cosmo dinardo, who was wearing an orange jump suit. he was sitting next to his attorney. dinardo did not ask for any bail and the judge did not grant any saying because of the nature of these alleged crimes, he is a risk to the community. instead right now he will stay at the bucks county prison and he did not have much to ta say in court. but his alleged co-conspirator had no attorney present and was quite talkative. telling the judge he's lived his whole life in northeast philly with his family. he said he works installing tile and notably also told this judge that he was shot about three months ago and had difficulty walking. he was concerned about that it

injury and loif in jail with that it injury. the judge denied bail for him. both suspects are massive risks to this community. >> both committing multiple murders over a week-long period, bail is appropriately set at zero. >> both will go through the criminal justice system as if they are presumed innocent from the start. however, there's an expectation that cosmo dinardo will be following through with any deals that have been made. >> reporter: he yesterday his attorney announced he he made an agreement to avoid the death penal penalty. the da says despite any confessions both will still go through the criminal justice process. one final note, the judge decided to keep both of these suspects in separate jails in separate counties so theyen can't interact. randy gyllenhaal, nbc 10 news.

of philadelphia area. parts of delaware county all the way down through northern delaware and even into parts of south jersey. you do not want to drive through flooded roads. remember the saying, turn around don't drown. and also this is the line that is coming through now. more showers and thunderstorms developing back in central pennsylvania that will be moving in later tonight. here's the hour by hour as we go through 6:00 we're expecting more storms dwom ideveloping in lancaster county and the harrisburg area. so that will be moving through. so you have plans going out tonight. even if the rain stops be prepared for more.

soviet counter intelligence officer was also at that meeting in question. he was in the room whennen donald trump jr. met with an attorney last year. the attorney promised damaging information about hillary clinton. the officer who was present for the meeting is suspected of having ob going ties to russian intelligence. donald trump jr. came under fire tr taking that meeting. the president backed his son's decision to do so is and nothing came of the meeting. but house democrats say the trump campaign may have broken campaign laws. >> this is a campaign violation soliciting or accepting something of value. >> also renewed their call for a vote on an independent commission to investigate russia's meddling in the election. president trump is back on u.s.

soil. he arrived in newark this afternoon. mr. trump will spend this weekend at a club in new jersey. the club is hosting the women's u.s. open. the president spent the past two days in france. >> the president wrap ped up hi visit by attending bastille day celebrations. today's er ceremony also commemorated the 100th anniversary of america entering into world war i. we're live in the breaking news center, erin coleman, nbc 10 news. back here at home, a state trooper is in the hospital, another dead after their cruiser collided with a garbage truck early this morning. this is what's left of the mangled suv. they slammed into the side of a garbage truck around 2:30 this morning, about an hour outside pittsburgh. the truck was turning left out of a parking lot. the. trooper died immediately.

he would have secelebrated his 27th birthday next week. hot temperatures did not stop hundreds from marching 18 miles in washington, d.c. today. the crowd in 90 degree temperatures making their voices heard. the group started outside headquarters at 10:00 this morning marching to the department of justice. the march is organize d by the group behind the women's march on washington. they were met by a small group of supporters who also eld signs. all polished up, the scaffolding a. top city hall is starting to come down now. he's been obscured so crews could give him a good cleaning. a nice surprise for one lucky septa rider. james won a septa key card with a a $100 travel wallet this

morning at the park station. septa handled out that prize to mark a milestone the transit agency is approaching the sale of its 1 millionth ticket. a burks county high school teacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student in his clasp. he teaches in leesport. he and the female student met after school at parks on several occasions from march to last month. he surrendered this morning. it has been a day of new discoveries in the killing spree that left four young men dead in bucks county. here's what we know. 20-year-old cosmo dinardo and 20-year-old sean kratz have been charged with murder. all four bodies have been recovered. they were it found buries in two separate pits on the family farm. the suspects brought the vick

toims to the farm to buy marijuana. turning now to our weather. we are tracking strong thunderstorms moving across pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware right now. >> some of them could become severe. let's take a live look down broad street. the roads are wet there in center city. these storms are moving through and could be severe at times. let us know what's going on. >> this is one of those days where everybody gets hit by rain and thunderstorms. as you can see new jersey and pennsylvania and delaware all get i getting hit right now. this storm with a lot of lightning is developing and headed to the shore. so want to let you know about that. 4:38 beach haven and 4:41 in atlantic city. this storm with a lot of lightning moving also toward portions of the shore so places like atlantic city hit twice and this is about 5:40 in stone

harbor. as you can see, there's plenty of lightning. it's now just about past newark. and it's tapering off in the philadelphia area. this area of storms in maryland moving into delaware. dover about 5:30. the rain is tapering off in delaware county and chester county and in much of philadelphia. but that's a good thing. because this rain has been really heavy. here we are in south jersey. there's will ming to mingtonwil. and the rainfall rates, 2 to 3 to 5 inches per hour. and these are very large storms. so it's not just a ten-b minute. downpour that you're getting. that's why we have these flash flood warnings in the red here across a the lot of the area.

rolling through quickly and the storms as they move quickly from west to east. right now we are in logan township. we heard a lot of thunder and saw lots of lightning. so we decided to come back into storm ranger, play it safe for now. i do want to mention we have had some storm reports as well including some really strong wind gusts in atlantic county. also have seen some reports of downed power lines in chester county. so coming up in a bit, we'll have more information. we'll toss it back to glen in the studio. >> erika is in good position here to be close to the storms. that's where you want to get the best view in case you get to see any of that circulation that might lead to a tornado. we'll keep monitoring that. in the meantime, we have more storms moving in from the west.

ago and the judge decided to house both men in different prisons in different counties so they won't be able to interact with each other. the investigation into the second suspect led police to two homes today. >> team coverage begins with rosemary connors live at one of those properties in. montgomery county. she joins us live now with more. >> reporter: that house is shielded by these trees here. we learned that kratz was shot just a few weeks ago. something to make the staff aware of at the prison. he's pleading not guilty to these charges. police search for the two guns 20-year-old sean kratz said were hidden at this house. neighbors say a relative live here's. the district attorney charged kratz with the murders of three of the four young men. >> anything you want to say

about sean? >> a man who lived at the house would not comment about his relationship with sean kratz. investigators describe kratz as the cousin of cosmo dinardo. now the two are accused ak accomplice in a case that's rocked philadelphia. according to the criminal complaint, the two planned to rob their victims during drug deals over marijuana. in the end the four young men lost their lives, shot to death. their bodies buried at this bucks county farm belong. ing to cosmo dinardo's parents. >> i can't believe it. i don't want to believe it. because what happened in bucks county, that's bucks county problem. not down here. >> reporter: the next door it neighbor explain they have only known kratz can to be friendly and nice. he owned guns, worked as a tile installer and lived in northeast philadelphia. investigators were at his house here in northeast philly overnight. people who live in the area can't help but pass by. the house where investigators combed through clues today looking for answers.

>> of course, we're just wondering what the whole reason for this. why he wanted to do it. >> reporter: that's something that the district attorney said this afternoon we may never know. the investigation continues and we'll keep you posted throughout the afternoon. reporting live, rosemary connors, nbc 10 news. >> you just heard rosemary connors talk about the criminal complaint. that's the document that details the crime step by step. it is so chilling it sounds like a crime novel. cosmo dinardo told investigators he shot jimmy patrick over a drug deal gone wrong. then hopped on a backhoe, dug a hole and buried the body. two days later, another was shot dead and s tossed in a tank. the last two men were put in the same tank and set is on fire. the tank was buried in a hole 12 feet deep and the killers walked away. there's so much more still unfolding about this bucks

county murder spree. legal experts are studying the just-released document right now. you'll hear from him at 5:15 and you can hear more about the men who were murdered. >> back to the other big story, the strong thunderstorms moving through parts of our area. >> it's the first line of severe weather we'll see for our friday night. taking a live look at the traffic from those wet roads. this is along route 70 near cherry hill. a slow commute home this afternoon. we have live team coverage. meteorologist glenn schwartz has more on what's to come later tonight. >> let's begin with chief meteorologist tammie souza with more on where the threat is right now. >> we're looking at severe thunderstorm warnings that have moved into new jersey. a little bit of leftover warning in delaware. philadelphia pretty much in the clear. but it's this storm that has basically been the one that's produced a lot of damage along its path. gusty winds up to 60 miles per

hour. we have reports of some trees and power lines down. let's kind of put this into motion. watch as they move into the area. they kind of pop up. really pop up in size. especially moving through chester county. that's where we saw a lot of the damage. until 5:00, we have a severe thunderstorm warning from middletown in parts of delaware over to vineland and down to morris river. we also have another deveer thunderstorm warning all of you in atlantic city. so if you are anywhere outside, seek shelter. get the pets in. these are dangerous storms and have produced intense lightning and small hail and damaging winds. you can see them moving to the east. this is our hail tracker. you can see hail that's been reported up to an inch in size. here's some of the damage. we have had some trees snap. damage to cars in chester county.

now we have a flooding potential to talk about. >> we have a lot of flash flood warnings. now that's more serious than a regular type of flood warnings we get. the aerial flood warnings, this is more serious potentially life threatening if you have water that is moving. it can knock people over and it's extremely large amount of counties to have this. flash flood warning for northern counties until 5:45. as you head toward the shore, that's until 7:15. we have had one significant report of flooding. this is in east knotting hamham. several road closures shorted. there's more to come.

out there on the roads. the wipers are going. the roads are wet. and we have more to come. >> i think the worst of it is with this cluster of storms. what it does is kind of stabilizes the area right behind it. once it goes through, it will regenerate but it may not equal this kind of intensity. most of pennsylvania is doing okay, but this cluster is headed into cape may county and they put out a severe thunderstorm warning. no question about that. 5:00 in egg harbor, 5:18 in atlantic city. this storm moving down through central delaware. 5:37 in delaware. then that crosses over into cape may by k. so you have places getting hit by thunderstorms more than once

with this kind of a set up. and look at dover. dover is kind of surrounded by storms. to the north, river view to the south. all of this is coming down into dover and south jersey. you're getting nailed with that. things will be quieting down there. here's the one coming into atlantic city. you can see how close it is. koling right down atlantic city expressway just outside. that's some pretty heavy rain. remember we have been showing you just the intensities. it's 2, 3, 4 inches per hour with the rainfall rates. and you don't want that kind of a storm to sit over the same spot. but let's see how the back edge is work iing. the problem is it's not moving this way. some of it is coming back up. an indication that this is not just a front that's going to sweep through. the flood warnings in the red.

severe thunderstorm warnings in the yellow. severe thunderstorm warnings continue until 5:15. flash flood until 6:30. and more more coming in from the west. we have winds coming in off the ocean. the winds from the west. the winds converge. the air is forced up and that creates the thunderstorms and that means they are going to be around for this evening. but they are going to be out of here by tomorrow morning. it may start off with clouds, but then the sun comes out. the humidity is down significantly from the last couple days. sunday is a gorgeous day. kind can of hot. but not all that humid.
