sees her sister getting in the back of the vehicle. they were celebrating the 21-year-old's birthday. she gets into the car and they are going to go from 1200 block of saint james street to lincoln road. on the way we believe -- and this is still under investigation, they both have been drinking heavily. on the way out somewhere we believe on walnut street the lyft driver says do you mind if i smoke. they say no. he says i don't have any matches. he directs the 20-year-old to go into this cinoco station to get matches. apparently it is closed. day get back in and away they go. they then arrive in upper darby.

there's a cinoco station right ie cross saint lawrence church. he says that he needs to take his medication, could she go out and get a bottle of water. gives her the money. she gets out and gets a bottle of water. she is in the store about three or four minutes and comes back out and the vehicle is gone. the driver is gone. her sister is gone. she then calls the police and reports it to the police. the cyabduction of the sister. we then investigate it as a kidnapping abduction. we go onto social media. we interview the family and cannot find the 31-year-old.

about 10:30 or 10:20 this morning the 31-year-old is dropped off at her residence on lincoln road by philadelphia police. we are still investigating. it is very very important to understand that, but apparently what happened is the driver, the lyft driver drives the 31-year-old, the victim who is now a victim into the area of northwest philadelphia in the 100 block of. he then asked her for her money, her phone and whoever other valuables she had on her. she refused to give it up. he then grabbed her phone and grabbed her credit card and

debit card. he threw her out of the car. he took off she then sees a 7-eleven in the area. she calls philadelphia police. philadelphia police interview her. we are waiting for those reports as i speak to you at this moment. we have the 31-year-old sister in here now. we are interviewing her. we have already interviewed the 21-year-old. so right now we are looking for a lyft driver operating a black four-door. >> you're listening to michael chitwood. she has been found. this missing person case, it was a robbery involving a lyft driver. they are still investigating. we are there right now listening and monitoring this news

we are following breaking news in delaware county. a 31-year-old woman disappeared last night after taking a lyft ride home. police investigating what happened here. we are live in upper darby. >> reporter: what we know is that the 31 kwleerld is safe. police are interviewing her. she was found in northwest philadelphia around 5:00 this morning and driven by philadelphia police to her home. this all started around 3:00 this morning when the sisters were celebrating the younger sister's birthday. they got a lift driver who took them to a cinoco gas station. at that point the driver asked the younger sister to pick up a

water so she could take some medication. when she came out sh she found that the driver, car and older sister were gone. she reported that her sister was now missing. they discovered the sisters had been abducted for an an hour. the driver demanded her money and fun. got away with the phone. got away with her credit card. >> he demanned her pin number for the phone. she refused to give it to him. he drug her out of the backseat and threw her out. >> reporter: so this 31-year-old woman is now safe. they are considering this an abduction and still looking for

out and have professional, educational and community achieve achievemen achievements. it's not that miss do not have other achievements like that. we are married. >> and it doesn't happen without your husband, right? >> she has worked very hard and been such a great inspiration to others and earned the crown in many ways. it has been a lot of preparation. i'm trying to keep the fort all together hoat home. it's a wonderful experience. >> talk about how it shines a spotlight on 70 million married women. i think it's important for married women to see regardless of your age you do have opportunities to do things like this. i never thought at my age i would be doing something like this. it is important to put yourself out there.
