>> first tell us about campfire fly. what is it and why is it focused on children? why is it so important? children very often don't have a voice for the grief. nurses decided 12 years ago to start this camp for children in burlington county because we saw this need. >> that had been a previous camp and we decided to pick up that task. >> and there are still grieving children out there. >> and you were telling me just a few moments ago you lost your grandfather. >> yes. >> after his passing it was a good place to be going to campfire fly. >> and being with all of the other kids who were my age, some

even younger than me who had been through the same tlihing a me and it was easier to be with a lot of other kids who were like me and it made it easier for me to get through. >> you felt like you had a voice in talking about that? >> yes. >> we had some things to do. >> yes. we went canoeing. we had a bonfire one night. that was really fun. i made lots of friends there too. >> do you keep in touch with them? >> yes. it is sort of incorporating a camp-like atmosphere. there are important lessons for them to learn as they go through the grief process. >> absolutely. we have grief activities. one of the activities we have is making a boat which we will put

police want to know what lead to an 11-year-old child getting shot in the face early this morning. we are live at the scene with new information. >> reporter: police do believe it was an accident. they have a lot of questions about how the 11-year-old boy got ahold of the gun. about 30 minutes ago we spotted detectives bringing out a number of rifles that were inside the

corruption trial. attorneys have selected six men and six women. he was accused of taking campaign donations in exchange for political influence. that doctor is on trial. opening statements are scheduled for september 6th. a civil rights lawsuit accuses a pittsburgh area school of creating a culture of excessive force. according to the plaintiff it allowed resource officers to shock students with stun guns and body slam them. take a look at this video. the video is from 2009. it shows an officer appearing to slam a student against the locker and hitting him with a stun gun. two others were released back in may. attorneys representing five former students say this is proof of a long-standing problem. >> why wasn't anything ever
