over the island and now it is just a category one storm with winds of 75 miles per hour. but it's a much larger storm now. hurricane force winds extend out 100 miles from the center. and the tropical storm force winds extend out over 240 miles from the center. that's why you're seeing the impacts at the jersey shore and the delaware beaches because of the size of the storm. all those swells generated are moving up to the north. we have to deal with that not only today, tomorrow and then probably those swells begin to relax on friday. as we have been saying all week long shs we don't want you to become desensitized to this. don't go out for a swim in this kind of weather. do it in the pool or some other body of water. so we have the august heat in september. that's continuing here. not going anywhere for the day tomorrow. so if you haven't found a fan or

so that's why it's just not something you'd expect during the month of cement. you can see upper 70s at 7:00. we flat line here during the overnight hours and there could be patchy areas of fog with all that moisture in the air. so let's track that fog for you. no problems here for the evening commute. it's during the overnight hours. that's where the fog will be the worst for the commute. i don't think we have any widespread issues in our suburbs and then we heat up again tomorrow afternoon. so let's go through the neighborhood. upper 80s in the philadelphia area tomorrow from fairmont to chestnut hill. 85 degrees tomorrow in the lehigh valley. mid- to upper 80s once again. then the cooldown starts to take place. while these temperatures don't look much cooler on thursday it will be much less humid.
