adding to the problems, containers with much-needed supplies are stuck at the port of san juan. gabe gutierrez is there. good morning. >> reporter: the reason many of the containers are still here is because of communications nightmare. there's no power, no fuel, and drivers aren't showing up to get the supplies. the acting homeland security secretary is set to visit puerto rico, this as the trump administration is pushing back hard that growing criticism that the federal government was caught offguard. at san juan's port, thousands of shipping containers, supplies are just sitting there and not getting to people who need them in the wake of hurricane maria. >> we have not scaled up quick enough. russel honore says maria is a much bigger challenge. and the trump administration isn't doing enough.

soaring slap of granite that's been crumbling the last few days. after eight major rockslides, this park is still open. dramatic video captures the terrifying moment. a wall of dust and boulders, thundering down the el capitan rock formation. the white crowd crashing 3,000 feet to the valley floor. drivers watching as rocks come careening down the face of el cap. it's the second rock fall in as many days, striking without warning, at the peak of criming season. >> we need that ambulance. >> reporter: the falling rock injuring one man. taken first by ambulance and then flown out of the park. the roadway below el cap, cut off. the dust making it impossible to see. at the summit, three climbers breathing a sigh of relief. >> we honestly wondered if the entire side of the wall we were

standing on was going to collapse. it was horrific. >> reporter: the slide, leaving a gaping hole in the monolith's southeast face. it comes after a rock fall killed 32-year-old andrew foster of wales. his wife suffering serious injuries, airlifted out of the park. the national park service says this latest rockslide was significantly bigger than the first. >> it's huge. ten-times bigger. at least. >> reporter: el cap, one of the most challenging climbs in the world, is a top destination for those living on the edge. rock falls happen at yosemite about 80 times a year. but it's unclear what triggered the latest slides. park rangers say rockslides are about everyday life here in yosemite. and despite the new rockslides, there's no increased threat. the park remains open.

netwo network, executives at twitter find themselves on the hot seat. >> reporter: twitter faced off with congressional investigators for the first time on capitol hill, with more information on how the russians may have attempted to influence the 2016 election. but what the company revealed infuriated lawmakers who want much more. the social media platform revealing 201 accounts linked to russian operatives. in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election. after staying relatively silent on any role in the election, twitter executives disclosed new information to congressional stre investigators. twitter found the accounts by looking at 450 accounts that facebook linked to russia. 22 also operated on twitter. from those, they found another 179 related users. the company says it's taking action on the accounts that violated its rules.

liberty german, went missing in delp delphi, indiana. it's a murder that's stumped investigators and tormented family members. the girls left behind clues, including a photo that could be their killer. and this short but haunting audio clip. now, an arrest 1,000 miles away may provide a break in the case. daniel nations was arrested after he threatened several people with a hatchet in mt. herman. when police pulled over his car with expired indiana license plates. >> he's a registered sex offender and that makes it a felon and illegal for him to possess weapons. >> reporter: colorado police are trying to determine if he had anything to do with the shooting death of a mountain biker in that area. >> we are investigating to see if there's any links.

it happened that the complaints of the menacing charges happened the same weekend of our homicide. >> reporter: it's this hmug sho that has police investigating whether he has something to do with the murders of the two girls. a citizen alerted the media that it looked similar to a picture in that case. >> the side-by-side was given to a media outlet in denver, who gave it to us, who we gave it to indiana state patrol. >> reporter: indiana state police said, we are aware of the arrest of the person in colorado, and investigating if he can be a suspect in the delphi murder investigation. but right now, there's nothing that connects this person to our investigation. the families of the girls are cautiously optimistic. >> every time something like this comes up, we hope and we pray. and hope and pray some more. and we have learned that it just

"today" national investigative correspondent, jeff rossen, with interesting news. >> reporter: concussions a major worry for nfl players and kids playing the game and their parents. researchers have been trying to

figure out a better way. a better way to test helmets to prevent concussions. and they say they have figured it out. you're about to see that new test in action. across the country, kids back on the football field. on the sidelines, anxious parents. according to safe kids, over 160,000 kids and teens went to the e.r. with a sports-related concussion in just one year. that's one concussion every three minutes. football, the leading cause. for decades, this is the way they tested helmets to make sure they're safe. but starting now, a brand-new test. and experts say it's a game-changer. we're at this helmet lab where they are testing helmets from the nfl and youth helmets, the kind of helmets your kids wear on the field from the school.
