that breaking news has police swarming three communities in the lee high valley. zernling for the gunman who shot a husband and wife as their home. it took place in lee high township the man hunt has spread. nbc10 drew smith is live. where the husband was killed in the shooting and the wife rushed to the hospital. neighbors being told to stay in their homes. >> the police chief asking that mostly o people don't become a distraction. and don't have to divert resources away from the man hunt. the man who got away from here is accused offend turning this normally quiet neighborhood into a major crime scene.

there are investigators at the house. >> reporter: tonight long acre drive and old post road covered in yellow police tape. neighbors realized something was wrong at 6:30. >> i was home alone. my dog was barking like crazy. >> from this home. they heard a loud fight. >> we heard a woman screaming. >> reporter: it escalated from there. >> it turned from a fight to something more gruesome. to say the least. >> reporter: help was on the way for two people shot. >> we started seeing cop cars pulling in. ambulances. >> reporter: one of the victims died on the scene. officers began working it track down the shooter. a man drove off in a truck. we saw them checking homes in north hampton. including an address with same last name where the crime happened. neighbors are shocked. >> i had people scared texting me asking if we're okay. you never hear in a small town like in. >> we have new video just in

they would clean it up. there are files piled all over. >> reporter: we spent three days inside the immigration court. watching how it works. inside there are five courtrooms. we never saw all five hearing cases at the same time. there are more than 5,100 people in philadelphia waiting for a court date. they wait 788 days. in new jersey the court where the deckers were sent has 31,000 cases waiting. that wait is 830 days long. >> it is very frustrating and stressful. for the litigants in the court to be in that limbo position. for such a long period of time. >> reporter: judge marks is not speaking for the justice department. she's president of the national association of immigration judges. >> it's an overwhelming job. it is incredible, emotional,

friday. we have a chance of scattered showers moving in sunday. the temperatures had plummet too. right now very mild. even 72 in slous. we have 60s akrsz the re. 40s and 50s behind the front. the chilly air will push on in here. it really isn't going to get below average for us until next week. so right now 65 philadelphia. it's 60 in atlantic city. comfortable temperatures. they won't drop too much more tonight. tomorrow we watch the southwest winds again. cooler along the jersey shore. look where we go. all the way up into the low 80s tomorrow. a spotty shower up in the poke knows. showers want to make their way in here tomorrow night and friday. perhaps in the out lying areas. and into lee high valley. but on friday we could easily reach the upper 70s and low 80s. on saturday look at this.
