right now at 11:00 an armed standoff just ended. this man was wanted in connection to a deadly shooting and is now in custody. good morning. i'm vai sikahema. this is all unfolding in bethlehem township. randy is live at the scene. what can you tell us? >> reporter: hi. for the past 15 or so hours police have been looking for this black pickup truck, a murder suspect inside. it took them through three townships until they found him parked here.

the standoff ended peacefully. police, s.w.a.t. teams and officers surround this black pickup truck inside a murder suspect accused of shooting a husband and wife last night. shooting the husband and injuring the women. a loud argument just before the shots rang out. >> we started hearing a woman screaming. >> i had heard a lot of yelling and screaming and fighting. >> it sparked a massive manhunt. overnight s.w.a.t. teams descended on this house. they used to bull horn trying to talk with the shooter. by morning the s.w.a.t. team raced away from the house headed to a new location. they found the shooter near

freedom high school in bethle m bethlehem. police tried to get him to surrend surrender peacefully. schools on lock dodown and neighborhoods urged to shelter in place. and that shelter in place is now over. the suspect, you ke soo here getting out of a pennsylvania state trooper car. you can see his black pickup truck here. the investigation continues. 64-year-old joseph molar, his wife remains in the hospital. philadelphia police investigating a deadly shooting. someone shot three people around 11:30 last night.

a 24-year-old man died and two others are in stable condition. so far there are no arrests. and now to the investigation of the las vegas massacre. they say the gunman researched possible locations in boston and chicago including a concert. they don't know the motive of the shooting. they know he spent decades awaring weapon and ammunition. they are trying to figure out what prompted the spree. paddo p paddock opened fire onto a concert crowd killing 50 and injuring nearly 500 others. we want to show you the chaos.

the front rachlkt at this point it sort of widened out and broken apart and we have a frontal boundary that will drape to the north. it could trigger a few showers for upper pennsylvania suburbs. i don't think it makes it into philadelphia or delaware. it stays mainly to the north of us. we will get a little bit of cloud cover. lots of warm air. here is where that frontal boundary was. it will lay down in our area. we have 70s out ahead of it right now. yesterday we had 80s. that's where we are going today. billings at 43 and minneapolis at 55. chilly air stays away until the end of next week and then we get our chilly air which will be in the form of 60s. we'll go below average far change. right now again we are looking at those low to mid-70s across the area with southeast winds. here is how we will be breaking this down hour by hour. we'll be in the 70s for the

remainder of the morning. make it into the 80s. by tomorrow morning we'll be in the 60s with mainly clear skies. could see an isolated shower again. burkes county, lehigh valley. we head into saturday and saturday is a mix of sun and clouds. saturday will be quite warm as well. we may get into the 80s on saturday. sunday isolated showers. if you're going to the eagles game carry the rain clicker. the shower will be on top of you. do have a chance of a light shower moving through the area. we'll talk about tropical system nate. it is has formed down here. about 40 miles per hour winds. it will be moving off about 9 miles per hour into the favorable waters into the gulf of mexico where it strengthens into what is expected to be a category 1 hurricane. after that right past atlanta as a hurricane downgrading and then

randy was near the scene where police got a wanted suspect to surrender. >> police across north hampton county has been searching for a murder suspect inside of a black pickup truck. they found him here in bethlehem township leading to an armed sta standoff. officers with gunning drawn pointed at this black pickup truck inside a murder suspect accused of hootishooting a husb and wife and leaving that wife injured. it was happening in lehigh township. local schools were on lockdown. just about an hour ago that suspect surrendering peacefully now in police custody. we did get information identifying the victim as 64-year-old joseph mulner. his wife remains hospitalized.

that murder suspect back in custody. the investigation continues and no clues about what pushed the gunman to hurt nearly 500 in a country music festival. law enforcement officials say they researched including a concert. the sheriff says at some point paddock must have had sun help given the amount of guns and ammunition found in his room. they discovered paddock bought 33 firearms in the past year and they are trying to figure out what prompted that buying spree. the calls for action on gun control are growing louder. the debate is focused on an

the measure unless there is more widespread support. a barge loaded with supplies is on its way to puerto rico. sky force 10 over the barge as it approaches the navy yard. it is filled with nearly 2 million litters ers of water. it should arrive next wednesday. today immigrants nationwide face a deadline that could impact a future. it is the last day for eligible dreamers. pamela osborne explains what people in the daca program need to know. >> this has been a controversial topic after the president said this program would be faphased

out. here is what this means. for anyone whose daca stoet expire in the next six monts, this is the last opportunity you'll have to renew daca. it gives protection from deportation. nationwide a little more than 150,000 people that are eligible to renew. so far about two-thirds of those who are eligible have already done so. advocates say the time line was tight. people were only give an month to get their applications and the application fees submitted. for those that do not meet the deadline work will expire after march 5th of 2018. here is what else you need to know. >> if they currently have daca, it is valid until it expires. they still have that protection until it expires. a lot of recipients may be

eligible for another kind of immigration relief. so there are family petitions. so what we would recommend is that if you have daca and it's set to expire seek illegal consultation to see if you're eligible for another form of relief. >> some good advice there. they describe this process as a limbo period for dreamers. there are bills being considered in congress. it is her hope and the hope of many others that the path to citizenship will be formalized for daca recipients. nbc 10 news. and in you this morning, i-76 eastbound is back open again after being closed all morning because of a deadly crash. officials tell us a car collided with a motorcycle around 3:00 this morning. we are working to find out if

hometown. >> what is it about the relationship between fathers and daughters? >> i think it's a very interesting one. she has a brother that she speaks of in the play. it's not that relationship, the father/son relationship but the father/daughter. she an artist. she feels compelled to focus on that relationship. >> so this is in a series that's happening this year the focus is clearly on women. >> it is a season about really strong women. it really is a women driven company. it is nice to see them investing in women in general in their season. >> and this show is interactive.

typically around 70 degrees with a few more clouds. going into the 80s today with mainly blue skies drifting through. it is 73 right now in philadelphia. that's the key, southwest winds warming us up. 81 by 2:00 this afternoon and 81 by 5:00. somewhere many between there we'll peak out around 82 or 83 degrees. we do get a bit more cloud cover in here this evening. we could see an isolated shower near the southern area. much will remain in the warm center. unseasonably warm. we'll see the low 80s for the next eight days. >> it doesn't look look it will slow down there. we'll have a shower on sunday for the entire area. if you're going to the eagles game pack the rain jacket just in case.

and nate, the newest tropical storm could bring us rain monday or tuesday. we get all of this warmth until the end of next week. we are not seeing anything as far as rain out there but the clouds are beginning to drift in. these are the clouds in advance of this frontal boundary. it is basically to the north of our area. it will kind of settle in right across the area. you could see a shower is out there behind it cool air will move into the area. take a look. it is 47 in billings. 66 in chicago. that's seasonal. ahead of it we have the 70s and it will be 80s we are looking at for today. across the area we are firmly into the low to mid-70s.

it is 73 in philadelphia and 75 in dover. let's go hour by hour. we'll see the high thin clouds. top out in the low 80s today. here is that shower that could come through again this evening and perhaps even early tomorrow morning especially north and northwest of the city. in the 60s across the area. a mixture of sun and clouds. low 80s across the area. look at saturday. we see plenty of sunshine. on sunday scattered showers. by 8:00 in the morning we are in the 70s. we'll enjoy these very mild temperatures. 40 miles per hour winds. once it gets over that warm water in the gulf of mexico it's expected to strengthen to a hurricane making land fall somewhere on the gulf coast. we'll see rain approaching our area. don't forget any time you want download our app.

you can see what's going on. it is 83 in philadelphia, 74 on the shore. everybody sees rain and on the holiday monday. it's a silent illness that some times carries a social stigma but the 37 million migraine sufferers will tell you the pain is very real. a big event coming up to raise money for migraine research. dr. lisa gold steen specializes in the treatment of my grapes. you know migraines can be much more than a headache. what is the biggest misconception out there? >> it is just a headache. in fact there's a whole spectrum of other disability that comes

along with it. they can have nausea, vomiting, light sounds, smell sensitivity, dizziness and the list goes on. >> and you treat dhirn who offer from migraines. your daughter is a migraine sufferer themselves. >> yes. until my daughter got sick i didn't realize there's a whole population, several million people that have headaches more than 15 days a month. they have migraines and some times every day. i treat a number of those kids every year. it is so disruptive to their lives. they can't go to school. they fall behind and they are so isolated. who would ever think chronic migraines like that existed. >> right. unless you experienced it or witnessed it first hand you think grab a couple of pain relievers and call it a day.

in reality it is really impact so many other parts of your life. >> right. >> so that's what miles for migraines is all about. tell us how you started the organization. >> my daughter was diagnosed and had to leave high school. there are so few treatment options that are developed for migraines. there's not really a community where people can come in and advocate. we brought this to philadelphia from san francisco. we put it into five cities. we'll go to 11 next year. people want a cure for migraine especially if your extremely disabled by it. you need to show the public this is a severe disabling disease and we need more treatments and we need for research. >> and we touched on this initially. there is a social stigma with this disease. >> it is something people really don't talk about. they think they need to handle
