health demanded air quality testing districtwide and set up a facebook group dedicated to the mold and a robo call at 2:30 this afternoon announced that school will be canceled for an entire week. no classes for the rest of the week. 6,000 pre-k to high school stoodents learned that all monroe township schools will be subject to indoor quality testing after a sudden shutdown at holly glen elementary school due to mold. >> my son takes an allergy pill every morning to begin with. >> are they going to have crews come in and rip down the tile to see where the mold is coming from? >> reporter: these moms said they would keep their children, students at both radix

elementary and the high school home from school. sparking upset and concern last week, parents demanded testing of all schools. on friday, students were snapping photos for their parents. >> in holly glen, you have it growing on desks, books, tables. not just the ceilings. >> reporter: today we saw crews outside of the radix elementary back entrance. >> some students said that the information was totally bluffed. >> my son has headaches every single day. i'm not a mold specialist. i don't know -- obviously mold is bad. >> reporter: tonight's emergency meeting is at 7:00 tonight.

rain. and then, not much left. we'll get to dry out during the night tonight to see the isolated showers, especially at dover and down into south jersey as we go into the evening. the average high is philadelphia is 69. we have clouds all day, it rained and we're still ten degrees above normal. 82 in wilmington and in lancaster it is going to be another warm, humid night. by tomorrow morning it won't be quite as humid. the temperatures in some of the suburbs will be going back towards more reasonable levels. another warm day coming tomorrow and then a cool down but the warmth is going to continue, too. i'll tell you about that coming up. new details on a deadly crash in camden county.

four people were killed when two cars collided in gloucester township. we've learned that the drives had something in common. they both lived on the same street. mitch blacher is joining us now. >> walk us through what happened. >> reporter: this is that deadly stretch on this road. we have now learned that the drivers and some of the passengers were neighbors. the aftermath of a brutal and violent collision in jersey, the drivers lived just four blocks from each other here on wilson drive. >> it's a reminder that we need to drive safely. >> reporter: gloucester township police have their investigation team working the accident. the chief tells us there are many unanswered questions. the main one, why someone crossed the center line.

eric paddock arrived on saturday in las vegas to speak with investigators and a psychologist and a profiler. he's there to help find a motive behind the killing spree and to retrieve his brother's body. exactly a week after those shots rang out, the city dimmed its famous skyline at 10:05 to honor the victims of that tragic night. 58 people lost their lives when stephen paddock opened fire on that country music concert right there on the strip. the lights stayed low for 11 minutes before flashing back to life. country singer jason aldean returned to vegas over the weekend as well. the shooting began as he was performing on stage. he visited survivors at the local hospital. his wife posted a picture of

them looking at the mandalay resort. a delaware state prison is on lockdown after two inmates tried to escape last night. the department of corrections tell nbc 10 that the inmates were able to get onto the roof of the correction center in wilmington. one inmate was spotted by patrol officers. the other was caught trying to go back. both inmates were hurt in their attempt to break out. the doc is investigating but says both inmates will now be charged. meantime, a criminal investigation after a deadly prison uprising. a lieutenant was killed in february when inmates revolted at the james t vaughn correction center in smirmna. an 85-year-old woman is in the hospital after she was hit by a car early this morning at fox chase. mable was on her way to meet a

shutting down the road leaving a traffic mess in its wake. around 12:30 this afternoon, people were getting out of their car to take a look. the road has since reopened. now to a developing story out of the wine country in california where firefighters have their hands full. they are battling several fires that broke out yesterday about 60 miles north of san francisco. look at those flames there. within the past few minutes, we've learned that someone has been killed. two other people have been seriously hurt. one 200-acre fire is forcing evacuations. drus tea and dry conditions are making this really tough. a nursing home lost air conditioning during hurricane irma and the home was evacuated after several patients were

average high is 69. saturday, 84. sunday, 81. tomorrow it's going to warm up again because we have sunshine and then it's back to reality. starting on wednesday. but even that is not the answer. look at the forecast for sunday. looking at the seven-day at the bottom of your screen. that's not a misprint. she's are the showers left over. they are small and light and moving out. dryer air across the great lakes and it's moving in and that says us up for a weard day tomorrow for october. 84 in fairmont and easton, 80 degrees. mix of clouds and sun. close to 80 even at the jersey shore. dover, 84 degrees.

showers moving out. we get sunshine as we go into tomorrow. a lot nicer looking day than today. east winds start coming in. and then on wednesday, that brings the clouds, the cooler weather and we have it moving in from the west and that adds up to rain. may get more steady rain on wednesday and into thursday as a result of that. but the clouds are there. the east winds are there and that means the temperatures stay down for much of the rest of the week. 74 and then 64. more rain on thursday than wednesday, i think. the suburbs go from 82 to 63. lehigh valley goes from 80 tomorrow down to 62 on thursday. south jersey, mid-60s. look at all of these places tomorrow. again, much cooler weather coming in on wednesday.

and authorities say those photos led them to their suspect. a sheriff's deputy. that kdeputy is facing several charges. >> he was at silver lake park in bristol county. deanna durante has more. >> reporter: a woman says a man offered her skittles and starbursts. he was exposing himself in the park and he's one of multiple witnesses who called the police. investigators discovered that man was an off-duty sheriff deputy. >> it was in this parking lot on october 3rd that park rangers say a man was spotted performing a lewd act in his red pickup truck. the man she didn't know offered her candy, first star bursts and then skittles and asked if she wanted any and asked her if she liked pornography. the man was viewing pornography on his phone. when the woman returned to the

park the next day, she saw the same man in the same red pickup talking to a preteen boy. the woman told the boy to stay away from the guy and then saw the man again on october 6th. they took pictures of the red truck and plate number. the woman didn't know the man driving the truck was an off-duty sheriff deputy. we went to his bristol home and there was no answer but out front was the red pickup truck. deputy sheriff stephen springfield told police he was simply urinating in a bottle. but police asked him again what had happened in the park, telling him there were multiple witnesses and they asked him what really happened. documents show springfield didn't deny the witness accounts and told police he was watching porn on his phone. we chatted with the woman off camera who says she snapped pictures of the red pickup truck and gave them to the police. she wants people to know that
