good morning oochi'm vai sikahe. pamela has what's next in the investigation. hi pam. >> reporter: what the shooter may not have realized is how many surveillance cameras are in this area at this intersection. we saw police officers checking for cameras. we are hopeful one may be able to give him them a look at who shot a man. he was in his uniform and two blocks away from the depot. the victim tried to run away an the suspect shot him once in the leg. a good samaritan saw the injured man and drove home to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. the hospital then notified police who began searching for the suspect. he is described as being in his late 20s, early 30s. police asking anyone with

information to give them a call. new information about a temple university student that was shot. the video might be hard to watch. police say she ran a red light sunday night and hit two cars. people surroundered her car to try to debt her out. she hit the accelerator and ran over a police officer. police opened fire into that vehicle. officers try todied to administr but she later died at the hospital. it. >> is hard. that kind of activity is not rational. i can't explain why she wouldn't have listened to commands.

>> the officer was treated and released for a head injury. she had just transferred the temple for the fall semester. police say the driver who hit an 85-year-old woman was around the influence. she is in the hospital with two broken legs. the driver stopped about a block away and was taken into kcustod. a 15-year-old-year-old peeping tom. they tied him to at least five incidents dating back to may. all schools in monroe cool district are closed because of mold. the mold was first found at holly glenn elementary.

wild fairs claims lives and properties. these fires are among the deadliest in history. jennifer reports from napa. >> a raging fire storm ripped through northern california's wine country monday fuelled by dry conditions and wind gusts topping 50 miles per hour. >> it's armageddon out here. >> i have never seen anything like it. >> 15 fires are burning in eight coun countie counties, scorching vineyards and properties and reporting at least 100 missing. >> this is a small snapshot of what's taking place. resources continue to pour in to mitigate these situations. >> thousands under evacuation

orders including two hospitals. california highway patrol used choppers to rescue dozens of people trapped by flames. hundreds of fire fighters attacking the blaze from the air and the ground. >> we have blocks and blocks and blocks of homes that are completely destroyed. >> including the house that once belonged to jose and his family who narrowly escaped the fire. >> the wind was so strong and so noisy. the people driving crazy try today get out. >> another wind fuelled fire tore through anaheim. at least six homes burned to the ground. >> literally it went up in seconds. >> resources across the state stretched thin as a look at what caused these deadly fires those investigations are going on even as the fires are still burning.

it will be weeks before they can say these fires are out. an arrest and murder of of a campus police officer, the suspect, one of the school's own students. they found drug paraphernalia yesterday. daniels was arrested overnight. president trump challenging secretary of state. he said if tillerson did call him a moron then they should compare iqs. tillerson said he never considered resigning. they are scheduled to have lunch today with jim mattis. trump tweeted out about a wide range of topics including health care.

during the day. a few scattered clouds. these are showers that we'll see in lehigh valley. some of those will swing into the suburbs during the day. i'm not expecting to see any showers until we get through tomorrow. already 78 in philadelphia. delaware 79 degrees and 75 in the suburbs and the lehigh valley. it has warmed from the 60s this morning. it is 75 degrees. allentown 75. warming into the low 80s for most neighborhoods. north hampton as well. sunshine, clouds and showers. today it will warm into the 80s. overnight tonight it cools down into the 60s but with winds coming off the ocean tomorrow it will be cooler. we'll see high temperatures only

in the middle 70s tomorrow and we'll see a lot more cloud cover. that starts tomorrow morning. wet weather during the day tomorrow. this radar and satellite, we are completely clear. the clouds in burkes county are showing up this morning. for wet weather nothing with those clouds. you have to look to the midwest and over tennessee and kentucky. that is some of the moisture coming at us for tomorrow. it is a slow mover. we are still nice and clear. the clouds will be increasing as we go into tonight though to our west. those clouds start to move in first thing tomorrow morning. we should have started the day dry. showers will move in and try to get started. steadier rain will wait until tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening and then that rain is likely to continue into thursday as well. so the first of the cool down will come tomorrow. but come thursday and friday the temperatures will be lower. look at the fallout, 84 degrees.

leg. police are trying to track down the gunman. we are live in strawberry mansion. what are police saying this morning? what he probably didn't realize is how many surveillance cameras there are at this intersection. we saw detectives walking, checking for cam ras. they are hopeful that at least one of them may help them track down their shooter. it all happened around 4:00 this morning. a septa worker was walking to work in his uniform. he was two blocks away when he was approached by an armed suspect. once the victim realized he was being robbed he tried to run away. a good samaritan saw the injured man and drove hoim to the hospital. the hospital then notified police who have been searching

clouds. all around the temperatures have warmed up nicely. it is 79 in south jersey. look at the shore at 78. at least a couple of neighborhoods have made it into the low 80s in philadelphia. won't take much more to join in. the airport will warm into the 80s this afternoon. we'll see that for most of the afternoon. partly sunny at 1:00. bright sunshine and a few scattered clouds. this evening will drop in the middle 70s by 9:00. there are clouds that will roll through. it will be a dry day and really comfortable. temperatures coming down a little bit at 5:00 and then down to 70 at 9:00 this evening. in the lehigh valley more clouds than you'll see at 5:00 this afternoon and dry all day. sunshine nice and bright for delaware. low 80s at 5:00 this afternoon. new jersey will drop from the

today the official opening of a new bus loop. here is a look at the loop at 61st and pine. it includes safety enhancements and upgrades. it has the bike racks and landscaping. the loop is an end point for route 41 bus, one of the busiest routes. and twitter the launching a bookmarking feature so users can safe tweets for later readings. it will help keep a separate list of items instead of using the heart or favorite button similar to the like or thumbs up button. it was a popular request by users. apple users will have hundreds to choose from.
