montgomery county. dea agents swarmed the willow grove location. that's where lauren mayk has been all afternoon. >> lauren, investigators tell you they thought something was up? >> reporter: yes, they have been watching this for a while. law enforcement has been trying to crack down on pill mills, places that write unnecessary prescriptions for medication. federal agents have been here all day and they wrapped up their investigation inside minutes ago. on easton road in willow grove, yellow tape blocks the parking lot and an officer at the door, a very different scene than what neighbors are used to seeing here at advanced urgent care. >> i've seen people lining up from 8:00 until late afternoon. >> reporter: larry owns this business on the next block.

he has had his suggestispicions >> you hear about the drug crisis that we have here. >> reporter: federal agent raided this center and three other locations as part of a pill mill. >> i stopped going because it's weird, it's crowded and they ask you for money up front. >> reporter: tracy henry went for help treating an infected tattoo. >> when i came out, a guy asked me if i had any prescriptions and i said no and he said for pain pills. he gives you prescriptions if you want. >> reporter: this afternoon, agents carrying boxes out of the clinic. a location neighbors here have been watching and wondering about for a while. >> my concern is that they were selling drugs out of the facility because typically you won't see a doctor's office have lines of people before they are opening. but again, they are innocent until proven guilty, right? >> reporter: now, law

tomorrow for the entire area, generally 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. we're talking more about the morning rush and the afternoon rush. the leaves are clogging up the drains and even though we may not get several inches of rain, we have big downpours in a short amount of time and that can lead to problems. the category is high for this time of year. this is not typically the severe weather season. so that's a little bit unusual. clou cloudy skies now. very warm and humid. there's the rain. thunderstorms down to the south. there have been tornadoes in south carolina. with this front that is coming this way, generally coming into our area during the morning hours, that's when we're going to get the worst of the weather.

some falling leaves. if it's near a storm drain, sweep it up tonight before the heavy rain comes in tomorrow. speaking of strong winds, here's the weather computer showing the winds tonight at the eagles game gusting up to 30. but watch what happens in the morning. now we have some places gusting up to 40 plus, 7:30 in the morning, 40 plus and possibly 50-mile-an-hour wind gusts as a line of storm moves through. but by early afternoon, it's really lightened up in most of the area but still strong at the jersey shore. so they will be getting it less and it does die down later tomorrow and tomorrow night it starts bringing in the cooler

air. we have mostly dry conditions and this, of course, is the strong to severe and even with all of the clouds, 74 degrees in philadelphia and close to that elsewhere. and that wind is coming off of that ocean that is very warm for this time of the year. 67 degrees. 70 in ocean city and avalon and stone harbor and cape may point. that's pretty unusual. and for the eagles tonight, it's going to be unusual for a late october game. temperatures at or above 70 degrees. the wind picking up as we go through the game. and the high humidity, too, most of the showers hold off. 8:30 in the morning, right across the i-95 corridor, it

into our area just in time for the morning commute. you can see all of that green there on the first alert radar. take a look at these clouds building over camelback mountain in the poconos. this is setting the stage for what is about to come our way. >> we're talking about that rain and a lot of people are likely to be on the road. let's go to glenn "hurricane" schwartz. >> we actually do need rain. it's been very dry over the last several weeks but you don't need it it during the morning rush. and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in general for the first alert, it's not going to be bad for all of those hours at any one spot. thunderstorms moving through and possibly severe with damaging winds and the leaves and it's theç greatest threat during th

day tomorrow but even the tornado threat is a little bit from what you would normally expect around this part of the country. so we're going to have to keep an eye on the radar tomorrow morning. now, you can see all of the clouds around right now and that's the heavy stuff. the oranges and red and tremendous thunderstorms. even some tornadoes today down in south carolina. it's associated with this front moving to the east and it's producing a lot of wind and ahead of it winds are behind it and higher up in the atmosphere. it's setting itself up for a pretty rough period here. the severe storm is possible. not a tremendous amount of rain in total, but much of it may fall in like a 15-minute period. that's the problem. temperatures are in the 70s across the entire area right now and it will be above 70 degrees by tomorrow morning in much of the area and that could help keep those storms severe.

minute fap poli minneapolis. there's only one place to watch it, here on nbc 10. a couple in st. louis had a surprise of a lifetime when somebody crashed their wedding reception. yeah, pop singer katy perry danced with the bride and some guests for about ten minutes here. she was in st. louis for a concert last night and decided to just drop on in to the wedding. >> can you imagine that? >> no. >> good fireworks. very cool. the weather is pretty quiet for the afternoon commute. >> yes. heavy rain and slippery roads and glenn, that's why you've issued a first alert. it could be messy, right? >> yes. a combination of the rain and fallen leaves and a good bit of wind, too. pretty good gusts. of course, the entire area, generally between 7:00 a.m.

going to the western side of philadelphia and into the city itself and toward the afternoon at the shore. the shore is going to get it the last, of course. and it may last a little longer at the shore. the thunderstorms, possibly severe with damaging winds in some spots and the flooding in some places because of the leaves and clogged drains. not that we're going to get multiple inches of rain. it's just coming in the same 15-minute period. this is a different model and it's not as ominous as the last one. but we're talking about 35 to 45-mile-an-hour wind gusts during the morning hours and it has the wind diminishing already, continuing to be strong at the shore while it's diminishing across the rest of the area. by tomorrow night, there's not that much wind at all. plenty of clouds out there now.

this is the area that we're mostly concerned about in western virginia and in tennessee and down into south carolina where there are tornadoes right now. 74 degrees in philadelphia. near that across the rest of the area. despite all of the cloud cover. and it's the end of october already. and this is pretty amazing for the temperatures at an eagles game. at night, late in october. the best chance of any kind of shower would be towards the end of the game and that's likely when the wind would be the strongest and could affect the kicker. by tomorrow morning, there is that line of heavy thunderstorms and this model continues the threat through 9:00 a.m. and then goes down towards the shore and really strengthens as it gets right to the ocean.

it was a really memorable day for a young man fighting a terrible disease but never let's it show. >> nbc 10's south jersey reporter cydney long has the story from cumberland county. >> reporter: it was quite the entourage on broad street. a 3-year-old ben graham burned off energy, they carried out a burning desire to see him smile. the surprise, a hand-delivered custom designed k-9 police cruiser. >> when they call you on the radio -- >> reporter: they met him at a truck event two months ago. >> he's strong and he's very brave. braver than any of us here. so he inspiring us as much as we inspire him.

right now at 5:00, we begin with the weather. we've issued a first alert coming our way. it's expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms, which will make for a wet morning drive. >> let's get straight to glenn "hurricane" schwartz. he's tracking your hour-by-hour forecast. >> keith, it looks like everybody is going to be getting rain, at least for a period of time it will be on the heavy side. that's why we have a first alert out for tomorrow for the entire area. generally, the western parts of the area closer to 7:00 a.m. towards the shore, closer to 3:00 p.m. as it moves west to east. this thunderstorm could be severe with damaging wind and localized flooding that clogs drains from the leaves. it goes from new england down to delaware, which is kind of unusual for this time of year. th
