grain of salt. because the it would mean you would have to think less of the actresses because it meant that they were doing it for their career. some people knew. some body knew. there were people that brought young actresses to his hotel room. there were reporters who have said they, they, got a story killed at "the new york times," was killed ten years ago. if someone knew that story, and didn't write it, didn't put it out there, the "the new york times," the wrap, who ever it was. somebody talked about variety. who ever had the story and didn't write it should be held responsible. this isn't just bad boys playing, this is violating women. this is assault. this is, silencing women. >> are you angry then? >> furious. i thought, yeah, he is moon to work with. i knew that for a fact. but, the idea that he its, you know, committed these kinds of atrocities on women. i want to know who knew. i am really angry at it. women have to be able to feel that they're safe to talk about

nominated the talented mr. riply several years after paltrow claimed she rebuffed weinstein's advances. >> i went, okay, well he made a pass at her. and she squashed it. and they figured it out. and they're professional again. people say what did you know? i certainly didn't know that any crimes were being committed. >> really, really important when weep discuss this thing. rather than being it salacious conversation this is criminal behavior. the most important thing. matt, you said you had no idea that sexual misconduct was going on. what were some of the rumors though that you had heard? >> i think everyone knew he was a, womanizer, in the sense that, you know, i knew i didn't want to be married to him. when i worked with him it was when he was married to eve his first wife. in the 90s. and the last movie i did was harvey all the pretty horses which was '99 came out in 2000. then he met georgina later. every time i would see him at an event. he would say how lucky am i? >> matt and julianne moore worked with weinstein several times. >> you never fortunately had any experiences like that? >> you were in your late 20s?

>> this is actually. i was 29. >> yeah, see. >> never, never was alone with him ever. anywhere. >> but. >> i do think it is important. >> how young and vulnerable. >> gwyneth was 22 when this happened. before sunny was gwyneth. that's a big part of it. the guys who do this. this is like serious sexual predation. about targeting somebody vulnerable. >> knowing the story you heard from ben about gwyneth. do you wish, some part of you wshd you called him out or asked him. confronted him. off awe don't know what i would have done. i heard from ben who heard from gwyneth that this happened. i don't know how that would have. >> i don't know how that would have happened. i never saw anything in front. he was a bully. he was intimidating. he was, that was part of, part of who he was. you had to spend a minute with him to know.
