the alabama senate race, is in tour moil turmoil. roy moore fighting back on allegations of sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old girl almost four decades ago. three more women told "the post," moore pursued them when they were 15 16 and 17. the age of consent is 16 in alabama. moore calls the allegations completely false. this garbage is fake news and defamation defamation. the force of evil will lie, cheat if they believe it will silence and shut up christian conservatives like you and me. a growing firestorm from white house to capitol hill. overnight, white house press secretary sarah huckabee sanders on air force one, like most americans, the president believes we cannot allow a mere

"the washington post" sought her out after allegations. >> she sees roy moore about to ascend to the u.s. senate and

felt she needed to tell voters in alabama what he knew about roy moore. >> reporter: a special election to fill jeff session's senate seat is scheduled for december 12th. before the allegations came up moore was up double-digit in the polls. it's too late to remove him under alabama law. but they replacement should be a write-in candidate. and he is vowing to stay in this race and fight. we move to the president's closely-watched trip to vietnam. he arrived there overnight for a key summit with leaders from the region. there's one he will not be meeting with at least formally. peter alexander is traveling with the president. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. the first time that presidents trump and putin will be in the same place at the same time in four months. president trump, just recently suggesting the two men would meet. but today, his press secretary,

untouched. and the senate's proposal would repeal the deduction for state and local taxes. if both chambers pass a different bill they will have to find a compromise between the two plans before sending it to president trump's desk. the trump administration says it is affidavit a tax bill will pass by the end of the year. now, the latest allegations of sexual misconduct to rock hollywood. five pimwomen have come forward to "the new york times," for allegations against louis c.k. miguel almaguer has more on this. >> reporter: he's success in about everything he's done. but the six-time emmy winner is best known for edgy comedy. ripped from his own life. >> i'm in a constant state of agitation.

>> reporter: now, louie c.k. faces accusations. his comedic partners telling "the new york times," in 2002 they were invited into the comedian comedian's hotel room for a night cap. he proceeded to take all of his clothes off and get completely naked. and started masturbating. goodman says we were paralyzed. according to "the times," in 2005 comedian rebecca cory says she was asked by louie c.k. asked if he could pleasure himself in front of her. when she declined he told me he had issues. five women sharing similar stories not verified by nbc news. describing for "the times" louie c.k.'s pattern of behafr asviorbehavior as

abusive and fearing retribution if they spoke out. nbc news reached out to louie c.k.'s representatives and not got a response. the premiere of his new film was just canceled. the studio saying in a statement, there's never a place for the behavior detailed in these allegations. as a result, we are giving care f careful consideration to the timing and release of the film. this morning, fx said it never received any allegations of misconduct by louie c.k. hbo is dropping him from a network special. and is pulling on-demand services. a new controversy in the nfl. a power struggle between the league's most influential owner,

jerry jones, and the league's commissioner, roger goodell. ron mott is in chicago to explain this one for us. >> reporter: last season patriots fans took him to task over tom brady's suspension. now, jerry jones, the owner of the dallas cowboys, has a bone to pick. no stranger to controversy this year nfl commissioner roger goodell has found a new foe, jerry jones, the powerful owner of the dallas cowboys. the nfl says it's aware of the outspoken team owner's threat to sue the league and some of the fellow owners as early as today, taking aim at goodell over the commissioner's contract negotiations. jones has been unhappy about a suspension on his own team. ezekiel elliott, back on suspension after a court ruling thursday. elliott was punished by goodell in august after an accusation of domestic violence by a

former girlfriend. an accusation that was not resulted in criminal charges. it charges that al boies has been fired by jones. at issue, whether jones has an ability to stop or delay the contract extension. jones announced his plans to a group of six team owners who are tasked with working on the parameters of goodell's contract. >> that's what nfl football is all about. >> reporter: the nfl's top man for over a decade he earned more than $44 million in 2012. and a league spokesperson told nbc news regardless of jones' threat there's been amicable discussions on a contract expension into 2024. it's anticipated the negotiations will be wrapped up soon. the feud between jones and goodell, just the latest firestorm to entangle the commissioner as he faces

another battle off the field. this past may, all 32 nfl team owners including jerry jones, voted to extend roger goodell's contract. it would take 75% of them to reverse course and push him out of that job. some sad news out of hollywood. actor john hellerman, best known for his role higgins on "magnum p.i." he appeared in "blazing saddles" and "chinatown." he returned to his home state of texas and was content with leaving hollywood behind. john hellerman was 84 years old. just the mention of "blazing saddles" gets a little giggle from al. >> you know nitche says -- >> howard johnson. >> he was great.
