we're hearing a panic 911 call tr that facility during the escape. >> we got our hands on the recording. >> the detentionen center. >> please help. >> please help. >> this frantic call to 911 captured the chaos unfolding inside harbor field youth detention center in egg harbor city overnight wednesday. >> my co-worker is bleeding. >> 14 inmates squloefr powered a guard and escaped stealing the guard's car. >> we're trying to get out. >> yes, they are out. >> are they out? >> they are out. they are out the building. please help us. >> reporter: authorities say the boys crashed that car nearby.

three of them caught later yesterday morning. but 18-year-old michael huggens remained on the loose for more than 30 hours until police tracked him down in atlantic city and arrested the accused killer around 10:30 this morning at an apartment building on south carolina avenue. prosecutors say he had a handgun with him. >> i could have been the next person or my child could have been the next person. >> he's being charge d with conspiracy. >> it's unclear how he got to atlantic city. no one wanted to talk with us there today. smallwood is relieved. huggen bs is off the streets. >> that's adding more time. that wasn't smart.

"saturday night live" star, forcibly kissed her while reversing a skit. >> he put his hand on the back of my head and he mashed his face against e me. it happened so fast. he mashed his lips against my face. and he stuck his tongue in mouth so fast. >> franken apologized today and called tr an ethics investigation into himself. when talking about the photo, franken said there's no excuse. i look at it now and i feel disgusted with myself. it isn't fun ny. it's completely inappropriate. the alabama senate candidate accused of sexual misconduct said he's not dropping out of the race. >> he needs to step down. that's mitch mcconnell. >> the senate majority lead er called for roy moore to remove himself from the alabama senate race. the white house said today that president trump believes the voters of alabama should decide moore's fate in december. he denies all the allegations against him. philadelphia's sheriff faces

another accusation of sexual misconduct this evening. a second woman who works in the sheriffs department is alleging sexual harassment by staff. nbc 10 confirmed house democratic leaders authorized using $30,000 in public money to settle a lawsuit brought against williams six years ago when he was a house rep. now the national organization for women is not only asking for williams' resignation but a full investigation. >> as a democrat, i feel like i'm subsidizing his poor behavior. >> philadelphia's mar you is calling for him to step down. he isn't talking publicly, but he res leased a statement saying these accusations are without merit. we ask the public to allow the courts to do its job before passing judgment. in south jersey, a stranger drove up to a 15-year-old girl and offered her money to get into his car. police came up with this sketch

right here. . this happened last wednesday after school. the teen said no several times and the driver drove away. it had chipped paint on the passenger's side. . new details in a road side shooting that left a. trooper seriously injured. prosecutors announced today that police were justified in shooting the gunman who opened fire on them. the corporal was shot multiple times by a man troopers pulled over last tuesday in plainfield township. police returned fire wounding the gunman. today prosecutors called the decision to clear the troopers an easy one. corporal kelly is in stable condition. former governor tom individual in critical condition tonight after an emergency heart procedure. the 72-year-old served as pennsylvania's governor from 1995 to 2001. hen wept on to become first homeland security secretary. current pennsylvania governor tom wolf issued a statement that reads we know tom

in. >> the greatest chance of it is is saturday afternoon and saturday night and most of it is going to be philadelphia northwood. greatest amount and the greatest number of hours of rain. right now, we have colder air starting to come in with the northwest wind at 52 philadelphia. down to 37 in mount pocono already. in the city of philadelphia, aside from the 52 at the airport, society hill, port richmond, fox chase, we have pretty uniform temperatures, sometimes when the wind is is really strong, you do get fairly temperatures even within the city limits. we have the last of the isolated showers move through hours ago. now you can see some of the lake effect snow showers. not quite making it to our part of the state, but it's an indication of how cold this air is that's headed our way. we have clear skies coming in tonight and into tomorrow. nothing but sunshine tomorrow. but it's going to be a good bit

cooler than today. close to 10 degrees cooler. then on saturday, we watch the rain come in. first thing in the morning, that's your most likely time for dry weather. to walk the dog, take a run, whatever you want to do. because here comes the rain. it may not hit parts to the east until afternoon. berks county, lehigh valley, probably before noon. some of it on the heavy side. now notice a lot more to the north than the south. delaware and south jersey may not get any rain until saturday night. as you can see, more and more coming across the northern portion of our area in the afternoon. that's hour after hour of rain and then at night, we get the main area coming through. so everybody ends up with at least some rain over the weekend. but a lot of it could be ending toward midnight and especially

by sunday morning. it just keeps going. things will be okay for the marathon. the wind will be increasing during the day sunday. a lot windier than today even. let's take a look at the expectations for the temperatures. up and down. today we got to 60. tomorrow, only 51. and cooler. saturday, we jump back up. but then that rain comes in. especially in the afternoon at nig night. much cooler in the lehigh valley. neighborhood weather at work again. then on sunday, we could have the early showers in south enginejersey. closer to the coast, but generally dry. windy and colder on sunday. for the football, pay have some issues with rain. especially toward the ind of ene temple game. and may get lucky with the rain tr the marathon. the half marathon saturday, the

clouds are increasing. it's kind of mild. but the rain may hold off a little bit. and the rain could end before the full marathon starts. and would be pretty good timing because it's going to be a pretty good amount of rain this weekend. the eagles are. pretty healthy heading into the game against the cowboys. there's a new name on the injury list. we'll update that. and joel embiid put on a click. ic. that's next.
