hit-and-run, police want to track down the driver of a truck like this one after the person struck two teens and then took off. plus royal engagement update. we have new details about when prince harry and meghan markle will get married. and you got served. now a pennsylvania restaurant is apologizing after one of its spiked milk shakes got into the wrong hands. right now at 11:00, left for dead. the search is on for a driver that hit two teenagers and sped off. good morning. police say the driver actually got out and moved one of the

victims out of the road before then driving away. pamela osborne is live. pam, what are we learning about the driver? >> reporter: well, i actually just got off the phone with the police chief. he tells me they are in the process right now of reviewing surveillance video in hopes of getting another lead to track down that vehicle and that driver. the driver was behind the wheel of a pretty unique truck. it is very similar to two-toned maroon and ford pickup with a ladder rack. they believe it is a 1997 model. it may have a broken taillight, a broken passenger side mirror and taillight. they believe 2 man hit two teenagers around 8:15 last night. the victims were crossing between two intersections when

they were hit. according to a witness the driver stopped briefly to move one of the people he hit off of the road before taking off. that female victim is in critical condition. no word on how that male victim is doing at this hour. let's get back to the driver. police describe him as being 6'1" or 6'2". he was wearing a blue hat. they tell me if they are able to pull an image of that vehicle or perhaps any video of that vehicle they will pass that along to us. we'll update you as soon as we have more information. nbc 10 news. developing now in center city a trash truck hit and killed a woman on a bicycle. it happened around 7:30 this morning. the waste truck stayed on the scene and no one has been

charged. two children in the hospital after police say they crashed a stolen car into a pole. they crashed a little before 4:00 a.m. they tell us the children are not seriously hurt. a woman suffered severe burns when the house she was sleeping in caught fire. they spent about an hour putting out the flames. an arson investigation underway after this fire started in a home in chester. fire crews arrived at the vacant home around 2:30 this morning. neighbors came out to watch as firefighters worked for an hour to get the upper hand. no one was hurt. another fire. smoke pouring from the front of the house along hunt club lane last night. firefighters cut holes in the roof to stop the flames from

spreading further. no one was hurt in that fire either. we learned meek mills filed an emergency motion to free him on bail. late yesterday the reverend visited the rapper. he says mill respects thousands of people who have been victimized by what he calls an abusive probation and parol situation. >> you are really exposing a ruthlessness in the system. does she want to go down as the type of person that would do that? >> meek mill was sentenced two to four years in prison for a probation violation. the judge says the rapper ignored the rules of his probati probation. looking for the attacker that beat a blind man.

police in upper darby gathered new surveillance video. they tell us it shows a man in a hooded sweatshirt knocking the legally blind 73-year-old to the ground and assaulting him and robbing him. the victim spoke by phone exclusively to nbc 10 from his hospital bed. >> the victim is now recovering from a broken leg. another sunny day across the area. pretty mild for the end of november. here is a live look at downtown

wilmington. glenn "hurricane" schwartz is here with the most accurate forecast, glenn. >> yeah. we do have a beautiful day out here. if you want some cold weather it's coming. it's going to take a while though. we have very little cloud cover. that is a front that will come through and cool things down. it is pretty far away. it will take a while. we are already up to 54 degrees. that's as high as we got yesterday. it is already above normal for the high. 44 in allentown. it is only 58 in millville. we have places definitely going into the 60s today including philadelphia itself. it will be in the 60s early this afternoon and then not dropping a lot during the night tonight. not going to be a cold night. and then tomorrow we have

another day getting into the 60s. we'll see how much cooler it is going to get when that winter-type temperature is going to actually make a visit here coming up. investigators say there is no evidence that foul play caused a fire that killed four people at a chester county senior center. investigators are expected to provide an update later this week. now an update on a man trapped inside a trash truck full of garbage. we were first to bring you this live yesterday. he was trapped in the truck for about two hours. firefighters had to dig through mountains of trash to are free him. we know the man was apparently sleeping in a trash bin and was wedged in the truck's compacting section. he was taken to the hospital with leg, hip and abdominal

injuri injuries. time to check the roads with jessica boyington. >> yes. earlier i was seeing delays on the southbound side there. there was a disabled vehicle there. so starting to move. we are seeing more delays. on the northbound side we are seeing an increased drive time here. right now about 13 minutes because of a disabled vehicle on that northbound side before route 320. it would be traffic coming away from delaware and maybe heading towards the airport. we are watching a crash on medical drive and also watching new jersey. we are seeing northbound delays on 295 right now because of construction back to you. >> all right. up next, making push, president trump heads to capitol hill to rally se

president trump at the center of a new controversy. they accusing him of using a racial slur. >> you were here long before any of us were here although we have a representative in congress who they say was here a long time ago. they call her pocahontas. >> he made that remark about elizabeth warren during a white house event honoring navajo code talkers. she called trump's comment deeply unfortunate and then said this. >> donald trump does this over and over thinking some how he is going to shut me up with it. it hasn't worked in the past. it is not going to work ie future. >> the white house said president trump meant no harm. it also said the issue is senator warren lying about her heritage to advance her career.

ivanka trump is visiting intd india today. the event is jointly hosted by the u.s. and india. this year the focus of the gathering is women entrepreneurs. trump owned her own fashion line and will give her address for the summit. this morning pope francis is vieting kn-- visiting. the country is in the midst of a brutal military crack down against muslim minority. we have unseasonably mild weather. we are already up to 54, which is above the average high of 51. it is only 11:00 a.m.

still in the 40s in many of the northern suburbs. the sunshine will be going up. we are in the mid-50s across much of new jersey. turnersville, washington township, every temperature is 55. there are a lot of them and then 50 degrees. all of those places pretty much getting near 60 degrees this afternoon. 64 was the high yesterday. the average 51. a couple of days of 60. we go down but we don't go down tremendously. we go down back to average for this time of the year. we are way above average across a good bit of the country. it is 56 in chicago. behind the cold front it's not all that cold either. so colder air is coming in.

it is going to put an end to the 60 degree weather we are going to see. it will take a couple of days. we also don't have any moisture until we see that front. it is mostly just cloud cover. there is not going to be a lot of moisture with that either. tomorrow 60 in fairmount. it is 59 in langhorn. everybody will see sunshine again. so there is your two days of 60 degrees then thursday after that front comes through we drop significantly but nothing too extreme. lehigh valley may not get out of the 40s. saturday you're going to be on the cool side too. nothing compared to what is

coming. so take a look at this. here we are with mild air in for a while. by thursday we get that front, what i would call chilly air in. another shot of chilly air for saturday. that's when most of us will consider kind of cold. then here on sunday and early next week we are warming up again, well up into the 50s chlts look at this, a tremendous area of really cold air. watch what happens. next tuesday. there is next wednesday and here it is, next thursday and friday the whole weather shifts. much colder air moving in. we'll tell you how cold a bit later. too close for comfort. tense moments for passengers at one of the busiest airports after two planes clipped each other.

witnesses tell police the driver was in a two-door ford pickup. it will have a broken passenger side mirror and passenger side headlight as well. an 18-year-old man and woman were crossing the intersection when they were hit. the suspect stopped to help one out of the road before he fled the scene. they believe the driver is 30 years old. he is described as 6'1" or 6'2". he was wearing a blue hat. the female victim is in critical condition. no word on how the male victim is doing. they are looking for an image of that truck.

that's where the cold front will put an end to this we have seen. it is 64 in philadelphia now. it is getting close to 60 in south jersey and delaware. it will get into the 60s in many parts of our area. it will not get to 60 in allentown, potstown, reading. the trend up by 60 at 2:00 does not really drop a whole lot through the night. we are in the upper 40s. we had some place down to 20s this morning. it is definitely not going to be as cold tonight and tomorrow morning than it was this morning. another warm day tomorrow then we see the changes. we'll tell you about them coming up. passengers watched in shock as two planes clipped wings at

new york's jfk's international airport. they called the tower to say his jet was having problems. he pulled the plane to the side of the runway. that is when the wing of an egypt air flight touched the wing of the jet. the faa investigating the collision. about a hundred passengers had to be rekused from a ferry ride. it got ledged on a san bar in manhattan last night. crews evacuated the ferry and helped passengers get safely to shore. airport in is closed. thousands are stranded and locals going to extremes to stay safe. we have the latest. >> a volcano effecting nearly 60,000 people all due to an

airport closure on bahli. it is people who are ready to fly to the island and people trying to leave the island. 440 inward and outward flights have been cancelled today and this is all for safety. >> we can do nothing. >> reporter: it continues to send a massive ash cloud into the air. this ash cloud has reached heights of 30,000 feet above the island and poses a deadly threat to aircraft. it is not just travelers effected. they are raised the warning on this volcano to its highest level. they expanded the exclusion zone as la va continues to pool in the crater of the world's highest volcano.

last time it killed around 1,100 people. authorities try to do everything they can while dealing with the unpredictability of a volcano. nearly 200 women across the country say they were sexually assaulted at massage envy. susan says she went to james deeter six times. he made her feel at ease talking about his love for his wife and daughter. in may of 2015 she says he sexually assaulted her. he admitted taking advantage of nine women during massages and is serving 13 years behind bars. >> it really was that there can be evil lurking in anyone and you cannot know it. >> she is working with a congressman on a law that would

require companies to report sexual assault allegations to police. massage envy says each of these incidents are heartbreaking they say even one incident is too many. they have created rigorous policies for training therapists. a burger chain apologizing after serving a four-year-old child an alcoholic milk shake. she said her son drank half the milk shake before she realized what happened sunday. it happened at a burger restaurant north of pittsburgh. when she complained nobody was concerned. >> i'm getting loud and it was like nobody had kids or nobody understood why i was so upset. >> they are reviewing training procedures to make sure it does not happen again. philadelphia is expanding

addiction. it is pretty much ground zero for the heroin epidemic. the bridge to recovery foundation has been found by valerie and christine. they raised over $48,000 in treatment. so this year we'll be working with them and delivering care packages. the first year we did about 100, last year 400. what makes our event special is we are not just delivering these care packages, we are delivering hope. they are people in recovery themselves. we are sharing with the homeless that recovery is possible.

remember, they got an hour earlier. it is a 10:00 a.m. temperature. so it is warm. st. louis at 64. behind the cold front in the cold air it's not that cold for this time of the year. you can tell where it is but not much precipitation. not kppgt much of anything with it as we go into early friday morning. as we go through the afternoon temperatures are going up through the 50s and into the 60 degree range and then we are dropping tonight but not as much as we did last night. we saw temperatures in the upper 20s in the lehigh valley this morning. nowhere near that tomorrow

morning. tomorrow near 60 degrees with a mild air for the following night. 60 for the next couple of days. we drop a little bit on thursday. a similar story elsewhere. we drop to a high of 46 and low of 28 on thursday. that's below thursday. it is generally dry. thursday night we could see a couple of showers. here comes the little bit of chilly air next weekend another shot of warmer air. it may wait until thursday or friday of next week but it is coming. this is coming too. warm weather for a couple days. a drop on thursday. a chance of an early morning shower on friday. generally dry weekend near normal temperatures and then we start going up again next week.
