what have you learned from police? >> let's talk about how this happened. this is spruce tree. the trash truck and cyclist were going west on this one-way street. when the trash truck started to go right, right there is where the collision happened. the 24-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital where she died a short time later. >> that's the reaction from everyone who biked through the intersection on a dilly basis. they heard about the woman killed in this spot early this morning. police are investigating. we saw for ourselves the bike itself did not appear to be damaged. >> that's what we're trying to ascertain how the collision occurred. the truck made contact while on her bike. >> it is a very sad day for bike lists in philadelphia but also for the entire city. >> the head of the coalition of

>> a push to free meek mill. his lawyer filed an emergency motion to get him bailed. but a state court quickly denied that motion and sent it back to the lower courts to make a decision. mill is behind bars at chester state correctional institution and serving two to four years for violating probation on a 10-year-old gun and drug case. lauren mayk was the only reporter to talk with the billionaire behind the billboards you're e seeing around town in support of meal mill. she joins us with more. >> reporter: michael reuben is a successful entrepreneur. his company runs a sports merchandise site, but for the past three week, he's been spending a lot of time on this case. and he says he and othersen won't stop until meek mill is out. along the school in philadelphia, the billboard urges drivers to stand with meek mill. one of the men behind it is

michael reuben. a businessman who counts the hip hop artist as one of his closest friends. >> we have nothing in common. maybe that was the connection. >> he's part owner of the sixers. he met meek mill at a basketball game and built a friendship that now has him taking on the criminal justice system is. he's been a character witness for his friend, even referenced in a court filing from lawyers trying to get the supreme court to step in on meek mill's case. they also want the judge to recuse herself saying among other things she requested the si singer mention her in a song. reuben was in court for meek mill's sentencing. surprised to hear the sentence to prison. >> she was acting if she was prosecutor, judge and god all-in-one. and so it felt completely wrong to me. >> reporter: he teamed with rock nation to raise awareness about the case and get meek mill out of state prison where he's visited him twice. >> does he feel optimistic that

lead them to the driver behind a hit-and-run in bucks county. a man and woman were crossing at an intersection just after 8:00 last fight when they were hit. witnesses say the driver stopped long enough to drag one of the victims o to the side of the road. then he just took off. police say the man was drive a marine and tan four-day pickup like one with a ladder rack. the 18-year-old woman hit is in critical condition. no word on the condition of the second victim. police discover ed a body i an alley in west philadelphia. around 11:00 this morning, they have arrested someone in this case. another woman has come forward accusing harvey weinstein of sexual assault. a british model is now suing weinstein. his brother and the company, she's accusing them of sex trafficking. weinstein groped herb and forced her to perform a sex act in 2014. during this news conference in new york city today, noble sproek direct ly about what she

now to nbc 10 responds. a viewer paid a doctor up front for a cosmetic procedure. >> when she changed her mind, the doctors office did not send a refund. she contacted harry hairston at nbc 10 responds. >> when we started investigating this story, we found a doctor facing complaints in new york while running an office right here in town. >> it was horrible. the worst experience i have ever had to deal with. >> reporter: she experienced something no expecting mother should. >> i didn't really feel the baby move that morning. >> she was nine months pregnant. >> i lost the baby.

and i had some body issues. >> she searched online for a cosmetic surgeon and found dr. amen, who also has this office. a gynecologist who performs cosmetic surgery. his website shows a list of celebrity patients and videos of him performing procedures. >> i'm thinking i hit the jackpot. >> she sent a $2150 down payment, about one-third of the cost. but two months before. her planned surgery, she saw where ashts maintain botched their operations. . >> i was mortified. i was ski scared. >> she cancelled her procedure and asked for a refund. the doctor said sure. the check never came. e we started digging and found back in june the new york board of professional medical conduct filed 29 administrative charges against the doctor. these allegations arrived under the treatment of eight former patients. among the more than two dozen
