facebook launched this feature the same day they released an interesting study into whether social media is good or bad for our well-being. their research found that in general people tend to feel worse when they spend a lot of time pass civively consuming information. meaning you're reading, not actually interacting. on the flip side, actively interacting with people is said to bring about a better feeling. so that means commenting on posts, reminiscing about past interactions, all that kind of stuff. that actually gives you a better feeling about how you use technology. so the new snooze feature is in response to all that research. it's aimed at supporting users well-being and giving people more control over their news feed. so i guess they're all trying to make people feel good. >> i wonder with the real life sn snooze button, can you keep snoozing? >> i think so. so they don't know that you're snoozing them, but will it look like you're not responding?
