well, welcome back. i'm chief meteorologist tammy souza. what a frigid day it was, and there's more of it in store. our highs today only pretty much in the teens. philadelphia hitting 20, but we had 17 in trenton, 17 in allentown, only 8 at mt. pocono. we head to millville where you saw 20 degrees. right now 14 in philadelphia, 1 at mt. pocono, 10 in reading. 14 in millville, mt. holly at 13 so we're falling quickly and will continue to fall. we have a first alert in place for dangerous cold through tuesday morning. the temperatures will be in the teens and 20s. the feels-like, that windchill out there between zero and minus 10. you've got to limit your time outside and special care for your pets. then we'll be watching a coastal storm for the middle of next week. possible snow next wednesday or thursday. here is your forecast for tonight. it's a frigid one. we'll see mainly clear skies. we'll see 4 in philadelphia, 2

in the suburbs. 0 in the lehigh valley, 5 in new jersey. 6 along the jersey shore and 6 in delaware. by the time you get to midnight the feels-like is approaching or well below zero so you need to cover all of your skin to avoid any frostbite. the temperature trending trend is not getting warm. upper 20s by wednesday so everything that's frozen stays frozen. here's your future feels-like temperature. take a look at where you wind up. tomorrow morning minus 5 in philadelphia. minus 5 in pottstown. tomorrow afternoon 7 in philly, that's the windchill for you. dover at 6, trenton at 6 degrees. then by the time we get into tomorrow evening, still pretty much in the single digits. doppler radar all clear out there. here's where we're going the next couple of days. tomorrow you'll wake up in the

in colorado, a sheriff's deputy is dead and four other deputies hurt after a shooting in denver this morning. this is video of a procession for that officer that was killed. police were called to a domestic dispute at an apartment complex. as soon as the officers went inside that apartment, a man inside started shooting. one by one we're told the officers went down. the shooter is now dead. a burlington county man is charged with killing two women. a third woman was seriously hurt. 44-year-old mark lakesack is in custody. no word yet on a motive. hey, i'm john clark live at the linc. the eagles get shut out in their season finale.

nick foles threw an interception and did not look good. what is the confidence level with nick going into the playoffs? we'll hear from him and the birds coming up next.

hey, i'm john clark outside the eagles locker room here at the linc. the birds get shut out in their regular season finale to the cowboys. they only played the starters about a quarter. the big question is nick foles going into the playoffs. let's take a look. nick foles was not good in this one today. again, 4 for 11. nick foles played just the first quarter. if you go back to the raiders game and the first quarter of this game, the eagles on third downs with him, 1 for their last 17. he had an interception today. the cowboys had the only points of the game. brice butler, touchdown here from dak prescott.

the eagles shut out 6-0. that doesn't matter. the big question, nick foles, what is the confidence level for him going into the playoffs? >> i feel great. honestly, i feel great. i know i can still go out there, i know what i can do. sports are crazy at times. you don't always play 100% of what you want to do, but you keep trucking along, keep working and i feel great. i feel really confident. >> i'm not concerned. still have a lot of confidence in our offense. again, it's not one person, one guy. still have a lot of confidence in the guys. >> and tonight at 11:20 before the fireworks, we're going to wrap up the eagles' season. we have a lot of guests tonight. we go one-on-one with doug pederson, malcolm jenkins, torrey smith, mike quick, and a lot of critical comments of nick foles and also how do you go forward and get this offense back on track. i'm john clark live outside the eagles locker room. we're right back after this.
