greeting the minnesota vikings. vikings will face a much louder crowd tomorrow. here's the 411 if you're tailgating tomorrow at the linc. the first gates open at 6:00 in the morning. the mn & p lots at wells fargo open at 11:30. the l, j and k lots open at 1:00. the lots at citizens park open at 3:00. restrictions start tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 and there's no parking from broad street to the stadium complex area and parking in the middle of the street is also a big no-no. restricts will last until 3:00 a.m. on monday. whoo! >> eagles fans and the cowboys

spending bill before midnight and that means many federal employees will not be paid or forced to go home unpaid. lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are blaming each other for the stalemate. >> negotiating with this white house is like negotiating with jello. it's next to impossible. >> government shutdown was 100% avoidable. >> now, democrats want the bill to include children's health insurance. long-term funding for the military. a disaster relief package for states hit by storms and protection for undocumented immigrants. the white house is pushing back saying that the president will not negotiate on reform until the government is back open. president trump tweeted this is the one-year anniversary of my presidency and the democrats wanted to give me a nice present. #democratshutdown. nbc 10 stopped by to see

he's asked for the confidentiality deal to be torn up so all the facts can come out. you can read the congressman's full statement on the nbc 10 app. well, the hit-and-run driver that killed an 8-year-old girl in west philadelphia is headed to prison. a judge yesterday sentenced pal woodland to at least 4 1/2 years behind bars. she was walking home from school in 2016 when she was struck. well, if you thought the flu season is bad right now, it's only going to get worse. health officials thought there was a good chance that the season had already peaked. new numbers show that it's grown even more intense. researchers have counted the number of people visiting the hospital with the symptoms and 32 states tracked higher numbers than the week before. hawaii is the only state not reporting a widespread outbreak.

notice rain and not snow or ice. in philadelphia, we're hanging out at 50 degrees. that's after a high in the mid-to upper 50s. in wilmington, 49 degrees. the temperature is not dropping off real quickly here tonight but it will turn chilly during the overnight hours as we keep the mostly clear sky. it was a like a spring tease here. 58 in dover. a nice reprieve from this really brutal month that we've had. temperatures are comfortable if you're headed out for dinner and a movie, you just need a light jacket. 39 in allentown and 37 in the poconos. notice the trend line, though. as we go through the evening hours, temperatures will start falling off into the mid- and upper 30s. none of that in store for tonight. temperatures dropping to 34 in philadelphia and 28 in allentown and 31 in vineland.

again, you'll need a winter coat but you won't need all of the layers that you have over the last few days. so temperatures tomorrow, heading in to the 50s. 52 in philadelphia. 49 for you in allentown. so another look at the eagles forecast. can't emphasize this enough. this game will be much different than the last couple of games than what we've seen here down at the linc. number one, we won't have a lot of wind. if you're tailgating, that weather looks good. road conditions are excellent here tomorrow. oef all, it's a nice january
