about that. it's going to cost you a pretty penny to get over there to minneapolis. we've talked to some people who are running these special tours and packages. they tell me right now it's not hard to get a ticket or get to the game if you have the money. the green legion is moving onto minneapolis. this group of die-hard fans quickly turned from celebrating yesterday's victory to planning the super bowl trip. >> let's go all out for the day. let's charter our own flight out there. no hassles. >> reporter: michael dias is with the group and tells nbc 10 166 fans are jumping on a plane. >> they're overcharging $600 a night. >> reporter: earlier today the cheapest tickets were going for

nearly 5,000. and those were the nosebleed seats. >> having the eagles making it there definitely drives the interest without a doubt. >> reporter: jay smith says tickets are costing more this year for a few reasons. they include a smaller stadium that's also new. he also told us over face time since the team hasn't been to a big game in a while, eagles fans will travel well. >> it could be different tomorrow or different on wednesday or thursday. >> reporter: and of course right now we're here at the airport. i am told these prices will also fluctuate depending on where you're flying from and if you're willing to take a connecting flight. for now outside the airport, aaron baskerville, nbc 10 news. if you're headed out to minnesota in the next few days, this is the weather you can look forward to or we should say

rush it starts to get closer. and through the philadelphia area, but the heaviest of it comes generally after the morning rush. between 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning. look at this. 11:00 a.m. the radar is just lit up here, the future radar. some gusty winds along with those thunderstorms. and a couple hours later it's gone. right now we have temperatures in the 50s. we got into the 60s today. we'll see the big temperature changes over the next couple of days coming up. also tonight returning to the stage. bill cosby made his first public performance since dozens of sexual assault allegations derailed his legacy. the comedian appeared at a social club in germantown just weeks after his second trial is set to begin. >> denise is joining us now on cosby's return to the public eye. >> reporter: he's just getting out and that's why he was here

at club lurose in germantown to honor a friend. but critics say the timing is suspicious. taking part in a mix of music and comedy, bill cosby took the stage like old times. but times have changed for the entertainer who faces an april retrial on sexual assault allegations. >> it's not to be feared to go out. i go out. >> reporter: he drew a crowd of about 50 people playing drums, and joking about his childhood growing up in the area and mentioning his wife. this is the first time cosby's performed since his sex abuse scandal. but he's been spotted around philadelphia. yesterday at a barbershop and in eagles gear before the nfc championship game. >> he's getting out now. >> reporter: an advocate for cosby's aers says it's all a plow. >> i feel like he's trying to make himself look before the

story broke and all these women came forward. i don't think that's a good thing to be doing ten weeks before you're going to go on a trial. >> reporter: i asked cosby about his retrial before his spokesman stepped in. and he said he won't discuss it. >> i came here tonight to be with my friends and the musicians and the people who came. >> reporter: a judge declared a mistrial in the sexual assault case in june. his rare public appearance comes just two months before a jury selection where 19 women may testify. there was one protester out here tonight. the spokesperson tells me cosby will be making more appearances in the coming weeks. within the past two hours president donald trump signed a bill ending the three day long government shutdown. the spending plan extends government funding through february 8th and extends the low

income spending program known as chip for six years. it does not address daca, the federal program which shields so-called d.r.e.a.m.ers from deportation. a father and two of his young children were killed when a fire ripped through a home this morning. the family says three other family members including a ten month old girl managed to get out alive. the cause of that fire is still under investigation. new at 11:00, pennsylvania state police release a sketch of a man accused of firing a bullet into a passing bullet on i-95. it happened around 7:50 this morning. police say a man driving a gold ford taurus like this one shot into another car. the shooter took off heading south on the interstate. three leaders of usa gymnastics has resigned tonight.

the sentencing phase of nassar's sexual abuse trial continued today. nassar must listen to each of the women as part of his plea deal. one of the victims says she's still being billed by the appointments when she was victimized. >> my mom is still getting billed for appointments for being sexually assaulted. >> he has pleaded guilty to multiple accounts of sexual abuse. pawlowski made the trip this morning from his office to city hall to the courthouse across the street. he's facing federal charges for an alleged pay to play scheme involving city contracts and campaign donations. pawlowski sold his office to campaign donors. his attorney claims his client

eagles fans. >> but life kind of got in the way for one family. they had planned to watch the game at his sister's house. that was until april went into labor. and faced with the prospect of missing the game, ben noticed the television in the room. not wanting to miss the moment, though, ben decided the eagles could wait. >> everything was going so good, and i didn't want to you know stress anybody out, including myself. >> well, just after hazel made her debut at 7 pounds, 9 ounces and did manage to catch a couple of minutes when he ran out for some food. >> hopefully they'll have more time to enjoy the eagles when they play in super bowl lii. boy, those fans got lucky enjoying those warmer

temperatures, too, during the game. >> meteorologist glen "hurricane" schwartz has more on temperatures heading our way. >> the showers heading into pennsylvania, so we've got several hours before any rain comes in. and the main area is in ohio. that really developed over the last several hours. that is pretty impressive line of thunderstorms right now. it's going to be warm and wet on tuesday. some gusty thunderstorms, and then it's going to get pretty cold for the rest of the week. it certainly was not cold today. the high was 62. 67 in dover. 53 in allentown. but temperatures really dropped in some areas, allan town is 39. a mild 52 in philadelphia and in dover. and we're probably going to get into the 60s again tomorrow. then we drop 20 degrees for

wednesday. and then we drop below normal for thursday, but then it starts warming back up. as we look at the future cast, by the morning rush, the beginning of it we're talking about poconos, lee high valley, berks county, possibly chester county. and later on during the rush the rain becomes a little more widespread. where we really get nailed generally between 9:00 a.m. and noon. look at that radar at 11:00 a.m., the redder colors indicate the heavier rain, possible thunderstorms. and then it moves out early in the afternoon. the afternoon rush is dry. but look at the wind gusts. by 8:00 a.m. we're gusting 30 to 40 miles an hour. and then we drop pretty quickly by 10:00. except you can see towards the shore we're still getting some strong wind gusts. we could see peak winds of 40 to

50 miles an hour tomorrow. it's warm at 64, but drops drastically and look how cold it gets thursday morning, down to 35 degrees. but this is not a long lasting cold spell we'll get here. less cold on friday and we warm up back into the 50s over the weekend. so we have one stormy warm day, three fairly cold days, and then we warm up again for the weekend. nbc 10 and telemundo 62 are partnering with the nbc universal foundation to promote technology and innovation in our region. tonight they announced plans for a $225,000 innovation grant program. nbc 10 news anchor tracy davidson and rick harris took part at the event in center city. the deadline to submit grant applications is february 2nd.
