wife killed to keep her from exposing a drug ring he was running with a biker gang. we have more on the letter the doctor left behind in his jail cell. a week after appearing haggard and frail in court, dead tonight after apparently taking his own life. >> i think he realized he had been found out. the gig was up and i guess this was his answer. >> he was found dead around 9:30 this morning in his cell around the hudson county correction facility. a source with direct knowledge says a six page suicide note was found on the bed. he was found on his bed with a torn sheet over his next and

this morning and the doctor was not on suicide watch because he had not expressed suicidal thoughts. new at 6:00, new video shows a south jersey police officer barely escaping getting hit by a car. >> today, the township of hamilton police released this video of the officer jumping out of the way of a passing car. the department says miraculously he was not hurt. the police want this video to remind people to follow the "move over" law. one of bill cosby's lawyers wants off of the case. the only pennsylvania based lawyer wants off of the case. the spokes man says that it is due to the attorney's case load.

the officer took the stand in the trial of edward archer today. he is accused of shooting an officer in 2016, the responding officer explained how he raced to the scene and took him to the hospital. he is expected to take the stand coming up on monday. >> it appears usa gymnastics is cleaning out. their entire 20 person board of directors will resign in the wake of the larry nassar sex abuse scandal. they sent the usa gymnastics doctor to prison for molesting women that went to him for treatment. two michigan state officials also stepped aside after the scandal. today in switzerland,

it is warming up here. saturday it will be the best day to get out in center city. this is a live look, let's bring in glenn schwartz, trying to start the weekend and then the rain moves in. >> yeah, it looks like a half and half weekend. it will be quite mild. we got up to 42 degrees today in philadelphia. it was only 39d -- 39 in coatsville. the temperatures have not drops a lot even though the sun has set. temperatures may rise starting later on tonight as the southerly wind comes in. right now an east wind keeping temperatures pretty uniform. we have turnersville, vorhees.

34 in hamilton square, one of the school spots but it is not drops very much. but tomorrow afternoon we have that southwest wind, most areas getting into the 50s, so going to be well above average, a lot of sunshine. that will be one nice day. then by 11:00 we start to see some of the showers getting into the county and by sunday morning it is widespread. most if not all of the area covered in rain. we're talking hours of rain, it ends after the morning from philly north and west and continues, maybe even gets heavier in south jersey and delaware. that is still rather mild for this time of the year.

nowhere near as nice as saturday is. this area moves down, but not down enough. watch it will start coming back. at the same time on monday, when we start off dry, the system coming in from the northwest. here comes the rain back. late monday colder air is coming in, and that adding up to some issues with a wintery mix. as the colder air comes in it turns to all snow by the tuesday morning rush. we're not necessarily talking about a giant storm here, but it could be inconvenient. 57 on saturday, the jersey shore won't see it because of the wind coming in off of that cold ocean if is a cloudy day, the lehigh
