some neighbors here have suggested that at times those gates malfunction, but we don't know if that was happening, if that was a problem yesterday. savannah. >> tom, now the investigators are there. what do they do? how do they begin to piece this together? >> reporter: well, they will probably be looking at the cameras onboard the train, outward-facing cameras. also inward-facing cameras looking at the engineer. they will determine whether -- how fast the train was moving and probably get a bird's-eye view of exactly what was happening in front of the train on the tracks. at the moment, there's nothing to suggest that this train and the engineer did anything improper. the question is why that trash truck was right there at the crossing guard. >> it's just awful. tom, thank you very much. keep us posted. we have a lot more to get . as the death toll climbs even higher this morning, new concerns are being raised about tamiflu, the medication used to treat the virus. gabe gutierrez is in charleston, west virginia, with the latest on all this. hey, gabe, good morning.
