in the cold and it is freezing this morning, for hours just to celebrate with the rest of the city. now, let me give you a little bit of the xs and os. this will be a five-mile parade route. they start at lincoln financial field. we call it the linc here in philadelphia. then they have 16 buses that will wind their way through the streets of philadelphia for five miles. every person i know will be outside just trying to get a glimpse of their faces. then it will ending right here in front of the iconic philadelphia museum of art. let's just say, okay have you seen the movie "rocky"? this is an iconic area of philadelphia where he runs up the steps and cheers. that's why they are here. they want to watch the players run up to the top of th going to go nuts. again, there are already thousands of people here. there's music playing, they're chanting about who let the dogs out, the e-a-g-l-e-s chant. it's insane. >> that looks like a blast, doesn't it? >> i can't wait for the rocky

make its way up broad street past city hall. we'll show you city hall as we start making our way up broad street. this is the way that the parade is going to move. it is going to move in this direction here. up broad and it is going to make a left turn as it hits city hall. we have also seen a lot of these buses with people making their way to the parade destinations here. the parade is going to loop around in that direction there. we see all sorts of folks lined up here since 4:00 5:00 6:00 this morning. some of the folks closer to the art museum have been waiting there since last night. right here, you can see there is a large group of buses that is making its way up the logan circle area now heading towards the oval. we have seen people really ready to have a good time. this is something that people have been waiting decades for.

they have brought their families. we have been hearing from people who are flying from around the to this parade. now, you see all these folks out on the roadways right now. a lot of schools cancelled classes for the day. a lot of work places have canceled for the day to allow people to come in and enjoy this. you are really seeing the amount of people that have come here. we still have a couple more hours to go before the parade begins. one thing that's important to remember here septa normally has about a quarter of a million, a little more than a quieter of a million riders per day. the expectation here is that we may see 1 million, perhaps 2 million people here. that are coming into the city. the broad street line the market/frankfort line are ervice. a lot of these folks we have lines and make them into the city. we just saw a large group of

city and south pdea. why i g som the volume that is not located around the parade route is because of these ramp closures. they are starting to pop up for what we ha previously plannfor. 95, south and north has just closed right here. we have had the schuylkill ay near the same area around broad street. they are closed as well. the east and wylkill that's we are see delays on to the majors as well. addit a lot of people frying peopo one at one time. more traffic trying to head in this direction. they are being diverted off on the westbound side. in is moving towards 24th street and the schuylkill expressway. you might need to know so basics. the road closures will be in place until about 6:00 from the sports complex heading up to the art museum all of the cross streets from pattison/broad and to eakins oval as well. there will be so many people around there and no parking until 6:00 p.m. tonight.
