philly loves the parade and right now an iconic sculpture is enjoying lots of fan fare has it finally returns home. achieving the american dream, clory kim passed off the wild ride to win olympic gold as her parents cheer her on. and ellen the mvp as sneak peek at nick foles talks about twing all for philadelphia. >> announcer: nbc 10 news starts now. right now at 11:00, love is in the air and on the move. one of philadelphia's most famous sculptures is returning to its original spot with a brand-new like. sky force 10 is live as the sculpture was traveling to the place where millions of visitors

have gone throughout the years to snap pictures of it. we're going to take another live look of love park right now. nbc 10 is covering the sculpture's every move along the way. we have a team on the ground and in the air. i'm katy zachary. it is being moved to be reinstalled on a new pedestal. it started its welcome back tour at 10:00 this morning, it made six stops including the philadelphia museum of art and logan square. each stop has a public art sculpture the city wants to celebrate. the big finale will be alt it's newly renovated home love park. let's begin with matt. >> reporter: hi, katy it has been quite a morning here for the love sculpture as it makes its way through center city. i'll give you a look over the ben franklin parkway where you can see it's right by arch street sitting in a little bit

traffic at the moment but it has been making stops throughout the area. it made its way around eek ins oval stopping at different points along the way if the stopped at the washington monument and the museum of art, stopped at logan's square at the fountain and just a few minutes tag made it's way over to the amore statue by 18th and the parkway. so right now you're looking at ben franklin parkway about 17th street. the next stop will be 16th and the parkway at the monument to 6 million jewish martyrs before it makes its final stop at jfk plaza and love park for its installation. this is a long-awaited moment for folks in the area. that's the statue right there. it's encased in a little bit of wood to keep it protected an it's on that truck. it's make its way to that final destination people have been waiting for for a long time and

just in time for valentine's day. >> thank you, matt. our live team coverage continues with pamela osborne. good morning pam. what are you seeing there? >> reporter: good morning. we positioned ourselves this way looking towards the parkway because that's where the statue is going to be make its way down right now. mit to arrive here and it will be the first time that it's returning to the public eye since it was removed for a bit of a facelift as work was being done here at love park. the statue was designed by robert indiana back in 1976. you'll notice it looks a little bit different. the blue that used to be on the side of the letters has been replaced with purple, the sculpturer's original color. the main colors are still red and green. it will sit in the newly renovated love bark to be enjoyed bypassers by who say they really missed seeing it. it's going to be installed on a granite pedestal when it gets here. you can see a few people have already lined up to see it when

here's a live look right now at downtown wilmington where it's sunny across much of our region. glenn "hurricane" schwartz is here with the most accurate forecast in town. hi glenn. >> the temperature is a little bit below average for this time of year but it feels kind of cold because we were just in the 60s a couple days ago. we had a little bit of wind, not as much as yesterday and a pretty good amount of sunshine, and that will continue across much of the area. we do have a few clouds by row hob bet beach but it's still a way better day than it was yesterday where the rain lingered. we have some high clouds coming across we have moisture down to our south and more significant moisture building up in texas again. we keep seeing this and time after time it ends up up in our area and that's going to happen one more time. 34 degrees in philadelphia with the light northeast wind. fairly uniform temperatures and it's not going to be going up a

those doses off the streets. that's 250,000 potential death sentences averted. >> investigators also seized a gun, cash, other drug paraphernalia. the two men were arrest and being held on $1.25 million bond. we have the highest overdoses in the united states. a man has suffered burns after he was kidnapped and set on fire. three men car jacked him after he left work, they used his cell phone to contact his family and demanded $10,000. the family didn't pay and they found him doused in gasoline and lit him on ve he came into his pizza shop before he was

news. and there's no place like home and right now the iconic love sculpture is back where it belongs. the newly refurbished sculpture paraded down the ben franklin parkway this morning and is back in its original location just in time for valentine's day and all those pictures. nbc 10's pamela osborne is in the middle of the action at love park. pam, the sculpture's returned it's good news for visitors commuters, anyone who finds themselves in love park, right? >>reporter: as we heard, a lot of cheers from the crowd and the eagles chant going on right now as they begin to move the love sculpture back to its original home here. we're talking about love park. you can see they've been slowly unloading that off of the truck after it was paraded throughout the city. they're going to be removing it from that wooden enclosure there that they put around it to protect it and it's going to be installed on a glass pedestal -- or a granite pedestal rather.

good to see this, sunny and even though it's chilly it's sunny. we're not seeing r across our area. let's head up to the lehigh valley. this is a live look in allentown. nbc 10 first alert meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz is here with your most accurate forecast. a little cooler than normal right, glenn? >> yeah katy and of course in february even normal is kind of chili. and so you got to be dressed properly for that. but at least there's not a whole lot of wind today. we do have a lot of sunshine not only in the philadelphia area, the sushburbs up towards reading which will have a lot of clouds and will have clouds coming in the next couple days. there's a fair amount of moisture down in virginia it's not especially coming up in our direction, but there may be more clouds in southern delaware and extreme south jersey than elsewhere today. this is the main area of moisture that's starting to come up. there's more building up in the milled of the

despite snipe, which what we have in philadelphia now at 34 degrees. it's not of wind so the feels like doesn't drop very much. in the suburbs we have more sunshine than we have to the south as you can see that's where the clouds are especially southern dell will be seeing more of those later today. more moisture building up from texas, the last couple of storms have originated there with just a little bit of moisture and it really builds up once the gulf of mexico starts getting involved here. it's 34 degrees now, the wind is out of the northeast so we're not getting increased moisture at the ground at least. 36 in atlantic city at the airport, that's am spot. 28 in the poconos is the cool spot. and we do have some winds right at the shore along with those milder temperatures 16 miles per hour sustained winds in atlantic city while it's only single digits inland. now across southjersey that northeast wind.

temperatures in the 30s but only 31 in piles grove, in florence, 34 in vorhees some of the cool spots right now. hamilton square 33, and hopewell township 34 degrees. those places barely getting up to 40 degrees today. now, as we go into tomorrow you could see the difference from what we just saw on the satellite picture to what the computer models are showing like a big increase in moisture. now, late tomorrow the clouds will be increasing and we could see a little bit of light rain as early as about let's say 8:00 or 9:00. if you're going to be staying out late for that dinner tomorrow you might need a little bit of rain gear because here it comes. and then as we head toward the late night hours tomorrow night and into thursday morning, rain. here's thursday night and into friday more rain but we're not seeing the yellows or reds indicating the heavier rain or
