that breaking news right now at 11:00, a woman shot and killed while driving a van down philadelphia street. >> nbc 10's brandon hudson joining us live. >> reporter: family member is very upset for his sister. three young women and three children were in a van at this intersection when police say someone drove up if a dark colored car and shot at the woman in the van. that van drove up the median and crashed into this building.

the two young women and three children went to the hospital. nonlife-threatening injuries. none of the children in the van older than 4-years old. the driver in the dark color car drove up. but there is surveillance video that will hopefully give them clues to who the shooter is. we spoke to the uncle of the woman who died. >> she is a bright young lady graduated with honors in high school and currently working and is working two jobs. conscientious, good hearted. >> reporter: you are look at the van where the woman who drove the van was shot and killed. that car, the driver, the shooter that was in the car, the car that wthe shooter was in, police are looking for the car.

one of the woman who was shot was the twin sister of the woman who died and those were some of her children in the van. we will keep following this breaking news all night long. check the nbc 10 app for updates. president trump invited school shooting survivors and victim's families into the white house. the president listened to their heart break and angry pleas for him to do something. >> i'm very angry that this happened. because it keeps happening. 9/11 happened once and they fixed everything. how many children have to get shot? >> drew smith takes us inside the white house. >> reporter: the president hearing directly from people affected by school shootings.

arms. one official at kensington creative and performing arts schools does not like that idea. >> i don't think that will stop gun violence. i think we need to have better safety measures and better safety precautions to prevent things like that from happening. >> pushing a red flag bill. the measure will temporarily take away guns from people who show violence. arresting 18-year-old jacob finklestein tonight the school's superintendent says he plans to meet with the police chief to talk about current safety calls. parents and students say getting

tonight high profile supporters are rallying behind philadelphia basket player who was benched for her religion. a referee forced her to sit out because of her hijab. the 16-year-old is hoping this is only the first step. >> it may look like your average girl's basketball game.

53 in allen town. 58 for atlantic city and 62 in wildwood. comfortable out there. widely scattered showers across the area. nothing compared to what is pouring through the parts of ohio valley. this is the whole line that we showed you yesterday backed up across the midwest and into the great lakes. cold enough air to be producing freezing rain and snow. we are going to be looking at cold rain. i don't think we will see freezing rain here. late tomorrow night and friday, we could see some in the poconos. down into the 30s by tomorrow late in the afternoon and early evening. any freezing rain is going to be cop fined to the poconos. by the time we get into friday morning still into the 30s.

we make it into the 40s. on saturday we are into the 40s. we see the winds turn more to the west and then to the north east and here comes the heavier rain that will be with us saturday night and into sunday. how much rain are we looking at between now and sunday night? several inches in the lehigh valley, the poconos. and 2 inches possible here in philadelphia. lesser amounts for new jersey and other southern delaware but that could change so stay tuned. here is what we are looking at for the next ten-days. 50 tomorrow but that is shortly after midnight. temperatures falling all day long down to the 30s. 44 by friday with rain. 62 on sunday. but it is going to be a soggy day. then the 50s break down early next week and into the 40s by the end of next week. back right after this.

in one thing, coffee. in this seashore town, it is an art form with humble beginnings and vending machines like these. coffee was so hard to find, men would take women on dates here. one cafe after another started popping up. that is why they call it coffee street. there are more than 300 unique coffee shops in this small city. we set out to taste every cup. the caffeine pumping, a sugar high and crash back to the beach with the rolling waves brought us back down to reality and we could appreciate every cup carefully crafted here on coffee street. i haven't slept since that whole segment was taken. just kidding of course. that was a great escape from

this 11-year-old oklahoma city girl was determined to get her shores done. she struggled to get a trash can up the icy driveway. after several wipeouts she managed to complete the task. >> they this such horrible icing and still going on in parts of oklahoma. not going to see the icing here. we are going to see the rain.
