the 2900 block here is open for traffic that the police presence has diminished here as well. some of the neighbors talking about that officer, saying show was a great police officer. some here saying they knew her from either in the neighborhood or on the job. at this point, the police not releasing identities of those found inside that house. reporting live in port richmond, deanna durante, nbc10 news. a 15-year-old philadelphia student is facing charges after he was caught with a loaded gun at school happened at samuel fels high school in northwest philadelphia. he set off the metal detectors when he tried to walk through and the school was put on lockdown. he admitted to stealing the gun but didn't know why he brought to it school. >> it makes me nervous and suspicious and makes me think of home schooling.

live and workers who call this restaurant behind me their second home, they may not be able to get back in until may. the impact of this fire now stretching into months. at the corner, a police car blocked traffic. at the shop on 3rd street, they're rebuilding, dealing with water damage that forced them to clear out the stationary and gifts. at the little lion on the corner, they're doing what they can on the outside. >> we're eight days since this fire and been in less than ten minutes. >> reporter: he's been in a few times but his restaurant still off-limits until the devastated building 239 is demolished, making insurance claims difficult. >> there's not an assessment. we can't really file for anything at this point. >> reporter: demolition is on hold until etf agents feel it's safe enough to go inside the building where the fire started

earlier. that is a sign for things to come tomorrow. look at that sky behind me. nice and clear. a terrific tuesday across the entire area. we do have rain and wind to end the week, along with a coastal flood threat, part of the same storm that is going to be developing and strengthening out in the ocean just past us. 50 degrees in philadelphia now. we have clear skies. took a while. clear in the suburbs, clear in new jerse new jersey, clear in the lehigh valley, clouds the most in the jersey shore and parts of delaware. temperatures dropped a little bit. 50 degrees in odessa and delaware, 50 in middletown, 57 here and a light northwest wind in lewis and keeping the beach

into the upper 40s. all those areas get well into the 50s tomorrow. you can see the clouds moving out from left to right, and let's look farther to the left. there's nothing out there. a couple thousand sand miles of dry air, why we're guaranteeing this beautiful day tomorrow. moisture will build up fast in texas and move up this way, like so many storms have during this month of february with over 6 inches of rain in philadelphia so far and record amounts of rainfall in atlantic city for the month. we have a southwest wind warming us upsets us up for rain coming in, not snow. this is thursday morning, still to our south. by afternoon, it is in, and the east wind is coming in. the stronger that east wind the longer it lasts, the farther it comes, the higher the tides get.

got a full moon on thursday, too. that make the tides higher as well. coastal flooding is a threat with this, along with some of the heavier rain, especially thursday night and into early friday. the ground is wet and there could be some localized flooding. on the backside of this storm, intensifying offshore here could pull enough cold air down to make a change over to a wintery mix especially up toward the lehigh valley. wouldn't necessarily last very long and service temperatures aren't that cold but the colder air comes in behind it and we dry out and it looks like just in time for the weekend. be nice to have a dry weekend once in a while. over the next few days, it's mild, especially wednesday and the rain comes in thursday. everybody gets the rain. it's mostly into the afternoon.

it gets heavier thursday night. wednesday, it's a pretty good day, too. on the 10-day on 10, average high is 47. many of these days are well above average, especially wednesday, march comes in like a lion on thursday, with that storm along the coast, with the east winds and with the coastal flooding, behind that storm, friday, saturday, and sunday, gusty winds. this is going to be a huge ocean storm, it's going to last for a while out of the ocean. we should still get dry weather saturday and sunday and more wet weather coming later next week with another storm. the nhl trade deadline passed today. we'll hear about the strategy and aaron talks about being the phillies opening day starter.
