completely clear -- vortex satellite. a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies. today warming above seasonal levels. it will be 69 and sunny. we will see low 70s this afternoon. the full forecast is coming up and it will be warmer and wet weather on the way. the top story this morning is three suspects on the run after an attempted robbery of the 60-year-old woman in the bronx. cbs news reporter has more. -- >> reporter: they went after the victim after she that this subway says -- station on prospect avenue. this was so violent that she broke her wrist. this happened at 2:40 yesterday morning. the 60-year-old woman was walking home when the man approached her from behind. you can see one of the men putting her into a chokehold and they try to rip the purse offer shoulder.

one of the men was that she was able to break free and a suspect chased her. she broke her wrist when she fell on the ground after one of the suspects kicked her in the legs. people in the area are alarmed.>> if you are in this area out early in the morning, what is your reaction? >> it is scary. i don't care how late somebody is out, nobody has the right to be abusive to one another and to attack anyone. i am so sorry to hear this.>> reporter: police want you to take a close look at the suspect. cameras captured them in their sweatshirts before the alleged crime. they are in their late teens to early 20s and they did not say word to the woman during the attack. if you have any information, police want you to call right away.

morning, alana gold, cbs 2 news. accused of killing a 17- year-old in a park in westchester county. tahj robinson was stabbed on friday night. 16-year-old tiki's -- berinzon moronta has been charged . he is being held without bail. they were classmates at sleepy hollow high school and neither were currently enrolled. family members and friends met at a growing memorial. tahj robinson was gifted and loved everyone conditionally. >> reporter: the school officials say that counselors will be on hand to speak with students this week. a devastated staten island family is speaking out after their 16-year-old son took a deadly fall down it elevator shaft -- down a elevator shaft.>> why? cries the mother of marcus

the top story this morning is that police are searching for three suspects that attacked a 60-year-old woman in the bronx.>> alana gold is live. >> reporter: the woman actually broke her wrist. it happen on prospect avenue as a woman was heading home and was almost at her doorstep when the suspects went after her. take a look at the video. the crime happened at 2:45 yesterday morning. two of the suspects approach the 60s-year-old woman from behind and one of them put her into a chokehold and they tried ripping the purse offered shoulder. after a few seconds -- off her shoulder. after a few seconds, the woman broke free. one suspect kicked her in the leg and she fell on the ground and broke her wrist. after all of that, the suspects
