lingering showers, especially east of the city. 63 degrees. then 3:00 it is mostly cloudy by 6:00, mostly cloudy and 51. we will have a better chance moving through. breaking news in queens. two men have been shot after a house party turned violent and the gunmen is on the loose. alina gold is live in baystate -- bayside with the details.>> reporter: victims in the hospital after being shot on 28 street just after midnight. this area is blocked off while the investigator and search for the suspect. this is video from the scene. this is a quiet, high-end neighborhood. police spent hours talking to witnesses and collecting evidence.

at some point, there was a argument and it is unclear what led to this. a man walked up to the victims, opened fire and then took off. one victim's 27 and he is acquitted -- critical condition. condition. -- the other is 23 and is in stable condition. the other seeing in brooklyn, those victims are expected to survive. on 23rd ave. police are investigating a double shooting with the government on the run. if you have information, police want you to come forward. the search resumes this morning for a critical piece of evidence in a plane nypd officer. police were searching for the weapon used to kill officer randolph holder.
