country. a somber morning midtown as a casket of joseph lemm got carried into saint joseph's cathedral followed by his grieving loves ones and teenage daughter and son. there was a sea of blue for his funeral, military personnel here to show the lemm family support and say a prayer. >> and also give a final salute to one of their own. >> it is tough, try to pull together as best we can. >> lemm was also a tech sergeant in the national guard. the 45-year-old had been on leave with the department doing a tour in afghanistan when he and 5 other americans were killed last month. after a suicide bomber road a

hawthorne new york. thank you. now to that breaking news bill cosby has been charged with sexual assault more than a decade after a woman said the comedian drugged and violented her at his pennsylvania home in 2004. police issued an arrest warrant, these are the first criminal charges brought against cosby after at least 50 women made similar allegations, cbs 2 from the newsroom with more. the alleged victim worked for the women's basketball team at temple university, cosby is expected to be arraigned in court this afternoon, he faces five to 10 years behind bars convicted. >> the charges today a result of new information that came to light in july of 2015. >> the montgomery county prosecutors office announced that the entertainer is being charged with aggravated

after a former temple university employee visited cosby's pennsylvania home to discuss her career. >> on the evening in question, mr. cosby urged her to take pills, that he provided to her and to drink wine. the fact of which when you are unable to move or respond to his advances and he committed aggravated indecent assault upon her. >> according to the criminal complaint the pills left her frozen and paralyzed she woke up at 4 a.m. to find cosby in his bathrobe, her clothing disshovelled. the charges are a reversal of a decision by a previous attorney who declined to prosecute cosby in 2005. prosecutors recently reopened the case as new evidence for the civil case and dozens of other women came forward with similar accusations.

shot in the right here, a shell casing of a bullet in plane site. police say he was leaving this strip club at 4:15 this morning with his girlfriend in this uber car. about a mile away cops say he was surrounded by 3 other cars, boxed in, four to six men emerging two with guns one wearing a mask. robbing of his belongings and jewelry. including the gold caps off his teeth. and shooting him in the knee detectives i spoke with tight lipped. >> is there anything you can tell us? not at this time. it was madness in the middle of the night. says he saw clay anthony go to his neighbor asking for help. >> a gentlemen is shot in the leg one neighbor was trying to help at the house. >> says he also shot this video showing the uber driver talking

asked detectives if early was specifically targeted by the thieves. early was transported to a hospital and reportedly in stable condition. his injuries were told did not appear to be life threatening. the woman he was with was unharmed. the new york knicks releasing a statement we are aware of what occurred with clay anthony and are relieved he is not in a life threatening situation. we will not comment any further until we receive anymore information. police detectives telling me so far, no word on suspects or why this might have happened. call it the clash of the nypd commissioners, claim the nypd is cooking the books on crime statistics but bill bratton is not backing down calling comments tabloid politics. janelle reports. >> it is the clash of the

barber in glen gardner reporting winds at 200 miles per hour also reporting fog out there this afternoon and that is the case for so many there was a dense fog advisory in effect this morning, and in some places we still have patchy dense fog. over the city, 43 degrees, east winds at 5 miles per hour. relative humidity at 82%. temperatures this afternoon, there is a big spread, monticello, 36, these numbers have been very sluggish to climb because of the ample cloud cover the sun not able to break through, we are however at 50 in belmar. 42 in the hamptons 42 in babylon. on the satellite and radar picture you can see how thick the cloud cover is, especially close to the coast, while there is no rain out there there is rain on the way, an area of low pressure right now across the mid-atlantic states will move in our direction bringing showers for your evening commute and steadier stuff over night.
