in. coming up in my full forecast, whether be specific about when and where the coldest windchills will be felt. dianne and andrea back to you. we have breaking news in the bronx where police are investigating a deadly fire that broke out in an apartment building over night. >> alana gold has more. >> reporter: take a look at the building in question. it gives you a better idea of where this happened. tenants have been standing in the lobby for hours since they evacuated. a lot of them say they had to climb down the fire escapes. the fire started around 2:30 this morning in a third floor unit. we're told the flames were centralized to that apartment. police say a 36-year-old map

mothers home this weekend that were dated in october. his press secretary released a statement saying quote, the city of newark is continuing holiday security precautions in and around city halls because of the threat if to city facilities and the life of the mayor. police responding to a 911 call in queens on friday night found a 19-year-old woman dead in her wood haven apartment. joslin romo was found laying face down in her bed. they are now calling it a homicide. and the nypd is investigating a double shooting in for east avenue. the victims a 27-year-old man and 32-year-old man are being treated at local hospitals. their conditions are unknown.

it's 19 in monticello. 30 in belle mar. look at the current windchills. feels like 23 in belle mar. sub zero windchills possible and high temps on tuesday will be below freezing for most. tomorrow we get just to freezing and slightly above but the winds will be whip. tomorrow will be significantly chilly too. we are starting off this morning most of us feeling like the 20s. by this afternoon it will feel like the 30s. this evening at 8:00 feeling like 30 in the city. now you can see the pinks and purples spread to the south tomorrow morning as you make your way to the bus stop it will feel like 20 degrees out there. it will feel like five areas

will be powerful. it will feel like 17 degrees in the city. it will feel like single digits north and west. and then as we head into tuesday, that cold air is now taking over completely. tuesday morning 6:00 a.m. single digit windchills for almost everybody. feels like sub zero well north and west of the city. it will be incredibly cold as you make your way out and about. by tuesday afternoon temperatures well we lost it there but nonetheless. it will feel like the teens tuesday afternoon. not pretty. it will be bright but it will not be pretty. as we look at what is happening out there right now. here it is. here's the front that will be dropping on through allowing that cold air to drop on in. for today lots of sunshine and breezy early. this afternoon a few snow showers are possible. mainly well north and west of the city. it's late in the day the clouds will become a little thicker as our day progresses. 44 degrees is the high. it will feel like the 30s out there.
