an active chase leading police from the long island expressway. choppers flew over head k-9 units charged in police cars wizzing by, lock out procedures in school buildings as police track down the robbers. >> two suspects under arrest, the one suspect was transported to the hospital, the other one is being transported to the precinct. we are currently searching the area in an abundance of caution to ensure there are no other suspects involved. two men rounded up articled with a pistol, no shots fired one shot during a knee injury, police from nassau say communication was seemless, they believe there were only two suspects they are both in custody, but out of an abundance of caution you just

she expected the bitter chill of winter to settle in eventually. grateful for. so i kind of expected it to be a bit colder. home. all right. so early this morning around 7:00 it felt like 11 degrees in terry town, up just checked the wind chill still 11 degrees there. here on the west side highway we are here with the mobile weather lab, temperatures 28 degrees, winds gusting up to 28 miles per hour that leaves the wind chill here on the west side highway at 18 degrees. we are live with the mobile west lab here on the west side highway, i'd like to send it over to my colleague john elliot. i feel guilty being inside vanessa, thank you. we're talking about wind chill. gusty winds continue clocking 37 miles per hour.

a fire with businesses in new jersey. >> reporter: even on an ordinary morning these flames would be a challenge, add to that the blustery cold and frigid wind chills. >> it actually flares up and has the fire to push a little bit. a perfect equation for this, a fire starting at the headquarters bar and grill traveling through this row ofbusinesses at 145 florence avenue quickly becoming engulfed. by the time firefighters got here they were spreading above. you can see the flames rising and rising. once firefighters were sure all 10 of the people escaped it took people from several essex county departments to get the fire under control. sprays from the hoses freezing on contact, one slip and hurt his back, another treated for
