that or embarrassed. it's been good weather for the movies lately. let's check in with vanessa murdock to see what we can expect for this week. i say today, not so much a day for the movies. it will be warm and pretty nice out there. not the day to creep on inside. wednesday while it will be the warmest day of the next seven, it will be raining. maybe plan on moving wednesday evening. here we go let's take you live outside. show you what is happening. we are just about not quite ten minutes after sunrise and it's looking pretty out there but we have plenty of clouds. mostly cloudy, 39. south, southwest winds at 9 miles per hour. this is key in our forecast. moving forward we will crank in air out of the southwest. that will help to warm things up around here. for today temps jump up by ten degrees. tomorrow it will still be mild but we have a few showers in the forecast. especially in the afternoon. and then wednesday will be the warmest day of the next seven. we are talking about pushing 60 on wednesday. we're not there right now.
7:17 am
34 in toms river. your temperature trend looks like this. yesterday 39 degrees. today 49. keep in mind 39 is where it should be. tuesday a little cooler at 47. and then on wednesday we are pushing 60. so today's high of 49 is the normal high for march 14th. we're fast forwarding to almost springtime weather. not quite. you know. later march is when spring officially begins. but on the vortex satellite and radar picture, very nice to look at. plenty of clouds out there. big area of high pressure dominating that forecast. that is why we have that push out of the southwest. hence the nice and toasty air that will be in for today. it will not be hot, but almost 50. 50 for some it's looking good. as we look at your forecast hour by hour, i think the model under does the clouds for today. expect for clouds, some sun but over all looking good to end your weekend. over night we will see a few more clouds moving in. and for your day tomorrow, here's the deal.
7:18 am
with a cold front moving on in. we may see showers in the afternoon but mild. over night tuesday looking good. ground hog day on tuesday. and then for wednesday we are tracking a potential for some significantly warm and wet weather. that is on wednesday. let's enjoy this weather in the meantime. 50s in the city. over night more clouds building on in. 42 in the city translates to 30s north and west. and for your day tomorrow a chance of showers in the afternoon but generally a decent day. 53-degrees to start that workweek. now your extended forecast. here we go. looking to tuesday. 47 degrees. mostly sunny. it's a beautiful day. on wednesday 58. super warm. pushing 60. i think some of us get there. it will be wet and windy. now for thursday, 46-degrees with that cooler breeze in the air. temperatures start to drop off.
