>>reporter: what you see behind me is a deserted area in the parking lot of what once was the amboy cinema off route 9 in new jersey by the driscoll bridge. police, locally and countywide, are investigating after they found a sayreville police officer with fatal gunshot wounds this morning. we learned about the fatal shooting earlier and launched new jersey route 9 north. we try to get a real views of what was happening on the ground and you can see a black dodge with the passenger-side door open and the passenger window is blown out and feet away from the car is a tent covering the body. officials say the deceased is a sayreville police officer who was off-duty at the time and police on the scene are not

york. surviving suspect in in the november attacks on paris may have plotted more. police captured salah abdeslam on friday in brussels and cbs has the latest from the belgian held. manhunt for abdeslam ended about five blocks from the house he grew up in. this is thought to be him, shot unmarked police car. belgian foreign minister has revealed that abdeslam may have attacks. >> we found a lot of weapons, heavy weapons. >> and, abdeslam's fingerprints. french prosecutors accused him of being a key operative and massacres in november. >>reporter: he admitted he was supposed to blow himself up at the start of france but backed out. that triggered a complaint from the lawyer who said it's not only a breach of his client's

this is from the island and you can see snow on the rooftops that will melt quickly with the sun. this is beautiful in bellport. we appreciate that. this morning, those roads are mostly wet. this is a gorgeous view of merrimack and this from the north shore. very pretty me, postcard like. but, a headache, i know. the calendar shows a maddening headache. in the city, partly cloudy and 44 and winds are variable. a few more numbers come out noted. island and monticello is 39. compared to yesterday, 5-10 degrees warmer than it was in the warming trend will continue. partly cloudy in the city up to putnam and westchester and fairfield counties with the possibility of a renegade snow

afternoon. an area of high pressure builds in to intensify the winds. right now, the winds are a 20 miles an hour and gusting. we could see gusting up to 30 this afternoon. i'm talking about a stray flurry later today or tonight, relatively quiet. more clouds tuesday into wednesday, due to shifting winds that will serve to usher in warmer temperatures. wednesday, temps and up 10-15 degrees above normal and by then, much of the snowfall will be gone. i think with the sun, today, and a day with sun and 50-55 tomorrow, most of that snow is out of here. another sign of the season, allergies. tough in the studio and around the area and not bad today.
