as belgium begins three days in mourning. pope francis held a moment of silence. there is ramped up security from train stations as hundreds of officers. we have kenneth greg in brussels. as authorities continue to search for suspects or evidence tied to these attacks, there is still very much carrying out the searches and raids, during one of those raids they actually found more than 30 pounds of explosives at an apartment tied to two of the attackers. >> authorities released new information about the suspects and the deadly attacks at the airport. a man in the surveillance video, he detonated a bomb inside the airport terminal killing hill and others, his

detonating a suicide bomb in the subway. the other two people have not beenidentified. the man on the left is believed to have killed hill, the man in the hat slipped away and her. security experts say the belgium police need to do a better job of community policing. intelligence they need. >> in central brussels people of all faiths are gathering to pay tribute to the victims children are writing messages in chalk while others are pausing to say prayers. >> here from bristle we are safe and i think we will always live in a safe place like this. this morning people in belgium and cities across europe pause for a moment of silence to remember the victims killed in the deadly attacks. transportation in the city is slowly getting backup and running. the airport however was closed

miller, spoke to cbs about the surveillance. >> contrary to popular belief, the government isn't listening in on everybody's phone or reading everybody's e-mails. in the wake of the attacks 500 officers have been deployed across the city many with assault rifles stationed at major transportation hubs key city landmarks and airports cops here, cops there, i walk up the street time's square there is security all over the place. i walk down to my office sixth avenue there is cops all over the place, but you know what i feel a little more secure knowing there are people what are watching us and watching over us for everything. i always see cops k9 units tactical units, definitely feel pretty secure, i feel hike it is pretty well watched. saying maintaining an
