live from studio 46. this is cbs 2 news at noon. good afternoon i'm mary calvi. i'm chris wragge. firefighters are on the scene of a huge fire in rutherford. one home is destroyed and flames have jumped to the house next door, jim smith is at the scene in chopper two. ranging fire destroyed a home along francisco avenue in rutherford, broke out after 10:00 this is a multiple alarm fire, spread to an adjacent home as well. no injuries have been reported the cause of the fire still unknown, an ongoing situation in rutherford as firefighters continue to battle this ranging fire. in chopper two jim smith, cbs 2 news. after years of alluding

burglar is under arrest, robert castanzo is responsible for nearly 2 dozen break ins from 2007 to 2008. toddlil, sections of the burglary in connecticuit, authorities say he could be linked to 100 burglaries across the tristate area. a man urn under arrest, robert cutoff another driver at the interest to broadway and hicksville, the 58-year-old suspect allegedly sprayed pepper spray into the other drivers car who had 14-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter. la bell is charged with assault. a man is under police after police say his backpack caused a road to be closed for two hours police got a call about a

spring team means ice cream trucks are hitting the streets but one is getting the cold shoulder, aiyanna gold shows us white. this ice cream truck draws plenty of attention in tribeca, saying it blasts until 11:00, one recorded it from their apartment on the 16th floor. others tell us they heard it from 32 stories up with windows shut. how loud was this truck? i'm almost on the top floor in the building and felt like it was right outside . claim this going on was a half hour at the time that is a violation of the code, ice cream trucks are not allowed to play music while parks. probably going to wake up kids in the neighborhood, be able to put them down to sleep. >> many who live around here say they want to know what they can do to get this noise to
