"early today" starts right now. good morning. i'm dara brown. we're only one day out from tuesday's all important primaries in five states including winner-take-all ohio and florida and hillary clinton looks to put it away, donald trump is ahead. john kay success was ahead in ohio. mitt romney as part of his anti-trump crusade is campaign campaigning today in ohio with kasich, although, he's not expected to make an endorsement at this time. the rubio campaign has started

in 1884. the louisiana national guard said over 2,400 people and 200 pets were rescued by sunday night. they distributed almost 100 sandbags across 13 parishes from the storms. bill karins will have a look at the intense weather coming up. a car bombing happened last night at a busy bus transportation hub. the death toll now stands at 37 with 125 wounded. turk eric official is say two of the dead are believed to beant assailants. two weeks ago they had warned american citizens that will there could be a possible terrorist attack. this is the third deadly explosion in that city in just the past five months. an unusual police chase in los angeles when a police cruiser reportedly carrying weapons was stolen.

hour at times, knbc's chopper followed the nearly hour-long pursuit. sharp turn, red-light, high speeds. left turn through the alley and he's kind of stuck. he's got nowhere to go. >> police pinned the drive. shots were fired and the suspect was pronounced dead on the scene. it was not immediately clear whether the suspect pointed weapons at officers. authorities are running parallel investigations. richard simmons is responding to a "new york daily news" report that alleges he's being held against his will in his hollywood hills home. he's said, he's not kidnapped and the people that surround him is taking care of him. he's had a knee replacement hand & has been taking it easy. he hasn't been seen in public since 2014.
