the man wanted for hitting and killing a runner during a race last month is now in police custody-- but he didn't go easy. thomas stidhum was arrested at a home in bond hill this morning. police say he tried to escape from a basement window-- cutting himself. officers then grabbed him-- but say he kept trying to run-- so they had to tase him twice. stidhum is accused of jumping a curb on dorchester avenue last month, hitting and killing runner cathy chatfield as she ran in the seven hills run walk. witnesses say he then removed his plates and left the scene.stidhum received medical care before being booked in jail. neighbors in westwood say they're tired of waking up to find their cars covered in spray paint. some of its so vulgar we cant even show it to you. but victims say most of the vandalism is just annoying and expensive. at least 10 cars were tagged with white spray paint sometime late wednesday night. many neighbors say they've been targeted in the past, but for some this is a
