fall river is in second place at 11.6% springfield is at 10.8% compared to boston at just over 7%. j.c.: new questions tied to this august fire at the charlton farm and winery. call log records obtained by the telegram show after the first call was made to 911, it took firefighters 21 minutes to get to the fire. the owner claims firefighters went to the wrong location and that' s what caused a delay. other factors that delayed malfunctioning truck and a scramble to find a water source. phil: commitment 2016 some of the republican presidential candidates are in new england this weekend. ted cruz plans to attend a fundraiser in boston this afternoon. he' ll then head to the deerfield fair before attending a house party and fundraiser in salem. john kasich has 3 stops today concord, goffstown and manchester. phil: the man giving hillary clinton a run for her money will be in massachusetts this weekend. bernie sanders has an event in springfield on saturday.

phil: massport fire and rescue training for the worst-case scenario today. massport staged a mock plane crash at logan. the crews were on the airfield helping mock victims off a plane. fire and ems crews did evaluations on would-be patients. the purpose of the drill was to test the coordination, communication and response in the event of a major incident at the airport. phil: a nightmare flight for american airlines passengers. j.c.: the injuries travelers suffered when severe turbulence hit. phil: we' ve all played fetch with a dog but what about a dolphin?. the high-priced item this one returned to its owner. >> wind and rain out there. it will not be the best weekend ever but it will not be a

headquarters. citing a changing retail and customer landscape. they are letting 450 people go. laid-off employees will all get 60-days of pay and benefits, as well as various severance packages. the layoffs follow months of rumors about job headquarters . hackers hit the t-mobile wireless network 15 million customers compromised. stolen data includes social security numbers, home addresses, and birthdates. the hackers actually got the information from the credit reporting agency experian which t-mobile uses to check the credit status of its customers. now t-mobile is offering hacked customers 2-years of free credit monitoring from experian. amazon will soon remove apple t.v. and google chromecast streaming media devices from its online shopping platform. neither product allows customers to easily watch amazon' s prime instant video streaming service. amazon will continue to sell streaming media devices that compete with its fire t.v. and fire stick like roku, microsoft xbox and sony playstation, all

of which allow customers to stream prime videos. j.c.: frightening moments in the sky for passengers on an american airlines flight. the plane headed for miami experienced severe turbulence. newscenter 5' s erika tarantal tells us several passengers were hurt. >> an ambulance on the tarmac. passengers loaded, injured during their flight from grenada hit by turbulence, throwing passengers from their seats. >> a gentleman didn' t have on his seatbelt. his head damaged the aircraft. reporter: all five passengers were taken to a hospital for injuries. >> it was very scary. reporter: the seatbelt sign was eliminated at the time and the pilots did not have any indication of severe turbulence. the plane landed without further incidents.

one possible cause, turbulence which pilots cannot see when a jet stream pass alongside each other. the air between is disturbed. it can get very company very quickly and radar cannot detect it. phil: in atlanta there is an effort to preserve majestic animal species. scientists at the university of georgia are teaming with zoo atlanta to build a genetic storage center to help preserve big cats and other species. the process involves taking cells from the skin of a sedated animal, then converting them into stem cells. from there, those cells can be it' s already been done with pig stem cells. and researchers are confident it can work with big cats, given the knowledge of their biological makeup. cells have already been and clouded leopard. dancer by the miami heat was participating in a financial shoot with this dolphin, when her phone accidentally dropped

because of that brees it is piling up the ocean. tomorrow we have another coastal flood advisory. it is all around high tide, 4:00 tomorrow. as we saw today, down through marshfield or may be minor coastal flooding. it is going to take a while for the wind to settle down. one thing we have is rain. i am showing you a lot of rain because this is not a washout of a weekend. toward the end of the week and there may be some then overcast. you see this band heading north. i said light rain. there is heavier rain to the south. right in between is where boston is.

some spots picking up over two inches of rain. here is even more overnight tonight. they have been talking about heavy rain into carolina. some places pickup it through the rest of the weekend. this is all on a stationary front that is down here. that is keeping the breeze going. the wind is going to stay with us. we have to get one or two of these to move out. it is going to wait for the hurricane to pass before it clears out. you see a lot of showers, where the heaviest rain is tonight. there will be some showers out there. we had to the afternoon. watch the clock and what happens. you will see some breaks in the cloud cover. it is more drizzle than anything else.

here are the winds. we can see some gusts again through the coast line. but we are talking about tomorrow for high temperatures, not much warmer than today. high temperatures tomorrow, 47 for a high tomorrow. temperatures climb up to around 60 degrees. things are extra warming up and clearing out as the hurricane makes a closer pass to us. you will see it showing up on the map right offshore but it will stay 300 miles offshore as it attracts into the north atlantic and becomes extratropical. behind it we have some blue skies. we have some sunshine and temperatures warming up in the upper 60' s and 70' s. the first parts of next week are

>> it does. if you take a look at the storm system we were tracking it close to the carolina coast. this is what we put our computer models together and say where is it going. there are a few that hang onto pushing it near the coast line but the track is right here. it is going to keep it to-three miles off our coast through the weekend. it is a powerful storm. category three, maximum sustained wind of hundred 25 miles per hour. this is going to track to the north. it goes from a 3-2 as it goes over cooler water. this is going to be happening monday night into tuesday morning. i will talk more about that and our rain in the forecast in a few minutes. j.c.: we will continue to keep a close eye on walking.
