we are talking about j oaquin of the goes, still a category one hurricane. southeast of nantucket during the overnight hours and continuing to move into the atlantic. standpoint, this is an impressive image. here is hurricane joaquin. this is a completely separate circulation, and upper-level low that has been sitting and spinning and pouring rain for days on south carolina. -- on the carolinas. the heaviest rain is in north carolina. more than 20 inches of rain has fallen in parts of south carolina, which is why they have had problems with the flooding. we had a little bit of sunshine around here earlier this morning. it was a little brighter than it is now. notice how the clouds have filled in a little bit. it is still chilly out there and it has been a chilly month of
