an employee for one of the two big fantasy companies, draft kings, based in boston -- won $350,000 on rival site fan duel. that happened the same week he inadvertently posted information on what nfl players were being picked the most in fantasy draft line-ups. that' s esentially insider information. his name is ethan haskel, and he acknowledged as much in this blog post a week ago -- "100% my fault and i apologize for any issues." attorney general maura healey: this is an industry that' s growing, it' s new industry and it' s growing like gang busters, and it' s something we' re all just leaning more about, and that' s where we are with it. phil: attoney general maura healey so far won' t go any further than that, but the new york times is reporting new york' s ag is opening up an inquiry into the whole business. for it' s part, draft kings relaeased a statement denying any wrongdoing, saying "nothing is more important than the integrity of the games we offer." it is, though, getting increasingly harder to call this a game of skill rather than gambling. >> calvin johnson in the endzone and fumbles it.

there are changes coming for lee in the week. that is all ahead. ed: no bail tonight for an abington man who shot and killed a 27-year-old from brockton. evyn garner, plead not guilty to murder charges while hiding his face in court. police say garner shot and killed, richard matt targalinee as the two met on a drug deal. garner allegedly put a gun to tangherlini' s head while attempting to rob him and shot him in the throat during a struggle. the victim' s best friend, who was another passenger inside the car survived witnessed the shooting. >> he had a gun to the back of his head and that can want it everything we had. i handed my phone over. the kid went and reached for it. that' s when i heard the first gunshot go off. ed: garner is due back in court next month. aaron hernandez is making another legal hail mary. his lawyers are trying to get murder charges against him tossed. his lawyers say there' s not enough evidence linking hernandez to a 2012 double murder in boston. the defense also wants evidence seized from the suv hernandez was in that night thrown out.

stay down. ed: gatti spit at the manager after he was cuffed by police. he' s charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass. he was a student at umass-amherst last year, and was arrested twice on disorderly conduct charges. heather: a boy from manchester, new hampshire who was stuck in a tree, is talking about his rescue. the boy, whose name is anthony, climbed the tree to see fire trucks that were responding to another call. he tried coming down, but his leg got wedged between two large limbs -- twelve feet in the air. >> they had to use a chainsaw to get this branch down and use the jaws of life to free me. they had a blanket over me. i didn' t know why they would have a blanket over me, but it just felt like i was comfortable and safe. heather: he suffered some bruises, but he is expected to be ok. he' s says he has learned a valuable lesson. ed: this is new at 11:00. a touchdown that means so much

a local mom battling cancer gets a special tribute from her son. heather: and she can thank a special team effort for making it all happen. newscenter 5' s jorge quiroga is live in leominster. jorge: when the 8th grade football team here breaks huddle, they do it by yelling "family". at a game this week, they proved "family" comes first. the leominster eight grade blue devils at practice, running the sweep, on sunday it worked to perfection. justus reynolds, number 56, ran for 50 yards. he could have scored a touch down. but didn' t. justus reynolds: i ran out of bounds cause i knew my friend evan' s mom was having issues with breast cancer. we wanted to do something to bring awareness. jorge: did they ever. the team made sure evan falandy scored his first touch down. no gimme -- it was earned. evan falandy: it' s more than just a touchdown, that touchdown went farther than points on the board. it was beautiful.
