route 3 from weymouth to braintree. it is 15-20 on the expressway to boston. the pike looks good. 93 southbound building delays. once again, from 125 in wilmington, that volume stays there. so far, the trains and buses are doing ok. emily: it is a crime that rocked a community and devastated the family of a young high school teacher. in just hours, a jury will be picked in this high profile murder trumpet erika: -- murder trial. sera? sera: philip chism is charged with raping and murdering his math teacher at danvers high school two years ago. he is 16, but is being tried as an adult. this is a case that has garnered national attention. he was in the ninth grade at the time. had just moved to danvers from tennessee.

8th grade blue devils on sunday. but it is what happened afterward. just got things started. evan got the ball scoring a touchdown with the ball the entire team had signed. after scoring, he runs up into the stands, looking for his mom and gives her the ball. his mom was fighting cancer. >> words cannot describe the feeling. >> that touchdown went farther than points on the board. it was beautiful. erika: the blue devils went on to win that game and if they make it to the playoffs, the team wants evan' s mom to be honoring team captain and lead them on the field. emily: in milford, the mighty mites had some good moves. we are not just talking about getting into the end zone. they are serious about the sport. both sides getting into the fun

erika: the trial of teenager accused in a teacher' s murder starts today. a jury will be chosen for the philip chism case. sera: jury selection begins today and the case that has got national attention. 16-year-old philip chism is charged with raping and murdering his math teacher two years ago it danvers high school. colleen ritzer was just 24 years old, but loved by many of her students. experts say the trial will focus on chism' s state of mind or the teenager' s lawyer is expected to use a mental health defense. jurors will not get to hear chism' s confession to police. the list of witnesses includes mental health experts, high school students, and colleen ritzer' s parents. we will be in the courtroom as jury selection gets underway. as the trial continues, you can follow along on wcvb.com and on
