the high school two years ago. 24-year-old colleen richards was a beloved teacher at the school. he was 14 at the time of the killing but will be tried as an adult. his attorneys are planning to use a mental health defense and the judge explained to potential jurors about finding someone not guilty because of mental disease or defect. >> this witness list is four pages long and includes names of family members . just because their names appear on the list, does not necessarily mean they will be called as witnesses. the prosecution and defense estimated the trial is expected to go until mid-november. >> thank you. we are following breaking news in winthrop. the police chief confirming an investigation is underway at the high school.

one boy is dead and another is in critical condition after getting sick in a state fair. 21-year-old colton somehow picked up e. coli at the county fair. less than a week later, he got sick and then died on monday. his father believes he got the bacteria at the petting zoo and he talked to the father of another child who is in critical condition with the same illness. health officials confirmed two children did attract -- contract e. coli at a fair last month. they will now investigate the health of all of the animals there and experts are my people to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. any local company involved in the fantasy sports scandal, the new york attorney general is now investigating drafting and rival -- draft kings. boston-based draft kings one 300 $50,000 on their rival site based in new york.
