issues and her family an friends are still reeling. this is a picture of casey enjoying herself on the practice field last friday. >> it was devastating to see her when we got there, she held on and fought as long as she could. mary: they remember their daughter as the glue of the family. >> she got along with everyone and kept us all together. mary: they say casey loved the arts, and music. she had a passion for living. >> she was fun-loving and determined and loved to play. >> she's always the first one to jump in the lake, jump in the pool, do the monkey swing. mary: casey's teammates are shocked, devastate. they had just gathered to start practice last friday, when casey collapsed from a brain hemorrhage, dying at the hospital. >> it was sudden, unexpected,

inexplicable and incredibly tragedy. mary: on the practice field a very personal memorial continues to grow. friends and classmates leaving rubber ducks, one of her favorite thing. tonight her parents take comfort in that photo, knowing she loved her life to the very end. grief counselors will be here at the school tomorrow. a funeral mass is planned for thursday in wellesley. ed: breaking news right now, two firefighters killed battling this building fire. a portion of the building collapsed as firefighters were battling the flames. four fighter -- firefighters were hurt by fall degree brie, two dying at the hospital from their injuries. crews are still fighting the flames now outside kansas city. new at 11:00, parents at new hampshire's nashua high school

"death notice" was found with the name of students listed inside. the name os 17 students were on a note. the parents of the students listed have been contact and will meet with school leaders tomorrow morning. no information is being released about the student who made the list, but the superintendent says disciplinary action will be taken. j.c.: new questions in the murder of a missing new hampshire woman. her body found in a hidden crawl space inside her home. jorge is live in new hampshire. police searched that home several times before making that discovery. jorge: that's right. police here in manchester searched the missing woman's first floor apartment several times. it wasn't until yesterday that her relatives solved the murder mystery. dropping off roses and votive candles in her friend's memory, she minces no word.

said it was horrifying. she said the firefighter was relentless. it was like he was in a zone and wasn't going to stop, i was afraid he was going to kill him she told me tonight. prefering to stay anonymous. she said the victim lay bloody on the sidewalk but thankfully conscious. a police report says 37-year-old joseph ward through the man -- threw the man who appeared to be homeless to the ground, straddling him on the sidewalk as he repeatedly punched and kicked the 53-year-old. ward grew impatient inside the restaurant because the man took too long to order. >> you're taking a little too long to get your food, you're going to want it but that's no excuse. john:: surveillance video from the restaurant could prove key in the investigation. police say it clearly shows the attack as it unfelded outside. >> when you hear somebody that's supposed to be an authority figure is beating up homeless

know, not great. john: that firefighter is now on relentless -- on leave. john watt wurt reporting. brocton. approximately 15 shots were fired, two of them hit a home. one person was taken to the hospital. ed: commitment 2016 tonight, less than 24 hour until the first presidential democrat -- democratic presidential debate. hillary clinton, bernie sanders and lincoln chafee will all participate. a sixth podium is available and will be made available for vice president joe biden if he decides to enter the race even as late as tomorrow. heading into that debate a new poll shows that hillary clinton with a widening lead and two early primary states, nevada and south carolina. it's a cnn/o.r.c. poll that shows the former secretary of state has a 16-point lead over bernie sanders of nevada.

to run, her lead other sanders widens to 22 points. in south carolina, she tops biden by 32 points and without biden there, her margin over sanders will increase to 50 points. biden is trying to convince -- donald trump was trying to convince an audience he's tough and not divisive. he was at the bipartisan group. >> right now, washington is in gridlock. >> trump was near silent on the house speaker debate and wouldn't give specifics about

killed battling this building fire. it does include this complex at large, it's about the size of an entire block and does include some apartments in this building complex. a portion of it collapsed as firefighters were fighting the flames. four firefighters were hurt by falling debris. there are many hot spots like one in the middle of the screen. two of them died at the hospital from their injuries. crews are still fighting the flames right now as you can see live from kansas city. >> [beep]. j.c.: now at 11:00, the uconn student whose obscenity-laced tie rate went viral is issues an -- issuing an apology. luke gatti shared his regrets. phil, what did he have to say for himself in phil: he said he was sorry for what was an ugly display of drunken rage. the thing is, tens of thousands of saw that nine-minute video, this ewetube apology you're about to see viewed by only several hundred.

et. the pilot said winds were unpredictable but no one was in any danger he managed to land it safely right in front of a home. j.c.: it was a night to remember for a transgendered teen in rhode island. kristian barber came out as transgender last november. he was bullied. but now he's enjoying acceptance after being crowned homecoming king he said just being nominated was a shock to him. >> i was up against two popular football players. i feel like they didn't have to campaign. this little wallflower who has no more than 10, 15 friends, and i'm really weird and here i am, nominated for homecoming king. j.c.: he said he's proud of the student body and the message they're sending.

ed: and the halloween parade is back on in milford, connecticut. parents were upset when it was called off. the public outcry prompted school leaders to stand up and reverse the orders. so it's back on. j.c.: good because they already have their costumes. ed: i wonder how many dressed up as weather things. danielle: it was very, very nice. temperatures hitting 80 degrees in pittsburgh, 76 the high in boston. 77 in norwood. it was a warm day. unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. temperatures on the way down as we head through the work week. however tomorrow is another mild day. even wednesday is warmer than average. once we get to thursday and friday, we drop below where we should be which is 63 degrees this time of year.

now as temperatures go down, the rain chances go up. tomorrow there is a medium chance for some rain especially southeastern mass in the morning hours. friday everybody has a chance for a good soaking rain. the rain is coming from this area of low pressure. it's getting closer to us. then we're watching this cold front back to the north and west. this is going to give us another chance for showers through the afternoon. but the air is so dry. so it's going to be hard to get a lot of showers out of this. i'll show you more on that in a second. but first, look what's going on right now. we have clear skies out there over boston. temperatures pretty mild. 58 degrees, winds out of the hour. we're starting to see a little area of fog developing, especially the orange area. we're going to see some fog developing along the south coast as well as the cape overnight tonight and first thing tomorrow. temperatures bottom out in the

40's in the merrimac valley. 50 degrees in worcester, upper 50's on the cape. tomorrow, mild again with a southwest wind blowing from 10 to 20. low 70's in boston, upper 60's on the cape. but yes that chance for rain is going to be there and let me show you the hour-by-hour timeline. as we start the day tomorrow by 7:00, notice there could be some heavy downpours in the south shore as well asen the cape as well as on the vin-yard and even nantucket. there could be a couple of rumbles of thunder because we have higher humidity out there by 9:00, boston seeing showers, metro west. lunch time. dry out. not the whole day is a washout. really for southeastern mass. then as we get through the late afternoon into the evening, there's going to be a couple of spot showers out there, especially for worcester county. the next seven days, looking like this, clouds, to sun, we
