identity fraud, newscenter 5 legal analyst martha coakley says getting more out of her could be a challenge. martha coakley: she is supposed to do something. she's not doing it. she can choose not to do it, but she'll have to pay the consequences of additional time in jail. sera: investigators also want to know about money or assets bulger may be hiding. after their arrest, more than $800,000 was found hidden in the walls of their california apartment. today's arraignment is expected to go pretty quickly. the judge weather-- the judge will will set a trial date. we'll have updates for you on-air, online, and the mobile apps. in south boston, sera congi, wcvb, newscenter 5. randy: a mother will answer to charges today in boston following a weekend amber alert. tiffany cherry was arrested early saturday at boston children's hospital where she brought her son to be treated for severe dehydration. she'll be arraigned on charges related to the amber alert and other outstanding warrants in massachusetts.

state custody. emily: a big win for the pats in indianapolis. that's as the team tries to put deflategate to rest following last year's afc championship matchup between the pats and the colts fans fired up last night over the scandal. and so were the colts as they marched in on an opening drive. they went 89 yards in 13 plays-- all in the first quarter. the pats kept it eventful with an 80-yard drive of their own, brady to julian edelman here. colts led 21-20 at the half. and it was a trick play gone wrong in the third quarter for the colts who had a chance to take the lead. they try to draw the pats offsides but the pats leap on the snap back, which wasn't supposed to happen, for the down. >> not something they've done in the past. we didn't know what the play was going to be obviously so it was a good heads-up play. >> as long as you play by your rules, you know and do what your coach says, you'll be fine. we made a play. emily: 34-27 patriots, the final. and a move that raised some

eyebrows. brady taking a game ball and stuffing it in his helmet. he then handed it to an employee. when asked about it after the game, brady had no comment, only saying the ball wasn't for him. embattled boston-based fantasy sports site draftkings defying an order from nevada's gaming control board. the group demanded draftkings cease operations in the state until it applied for state gambling licenses. fanduel did cooperate with the ruling this weekend. however, according to "the new york times," draftkings admits it allowed some customers who placed bets before thursday's ruling to play. a spokesperson for draftkings says the company does take the board's decision seriously and has instructed nevada customers to close their accounts. randy: a bail hearing today for the man accused of killing a swampscott mother. convicted sex offender jason fleury has been held without bail since his arrest in virginia in august. he's accused of killing jaimee mendez whose body was found along king's beach in january. fleury has pleaded not guilty.

two people are dead following a house fire in chicopee. the flames broke out yesterday morning around 7:30. by the time firefighters arrived, the entire single-family home was engulfed in flames. the identities of the victims have not yet been released. the cause of the fire is under investigation. emily: a decision could be made as early as today to try five guantanamo prisoners for their alleged role in the 9-11 terror attacks. proceedings in the case were halted in 2014 after it was discovered members of the defense team had been questioned by the f.b.i. about a breach of security rules. a new report from the justice department says at this time none of those lawyers will face criminal charges. the judge overseeing the case will now decide if the case can move forward. democratic presidential candidate hillary clinton heads to capitol hill this week to testify on the deadly attack at the u.s. consulate in benghazi. meantime there's more bad blood between republican candidates donald trump and jeb bush over

the 9-11 terror attacks. trump and bush debating over the weekend about who's to blame for the attacks on the world trade center. trump suggesting he could have prevented it by keeping the terrorists out of the u.s. bush, whose brother was in office at the time, was swift to respond. jeb bush: he's an actor playing the role of the candidate for president. not boning up on the issues. donald trump: i'm not blaming george bush but i don't want jeb bush to say my brother kept us safe. emily: meanwhile, vice president joe biden is nearing a decision on 2016. abc news reporting biden called the v.p. of the nation's powerful firefighters union on friday and discussed a campaign strategy in detail. randy: a mechanical problem diverts a jetblue flight to boston. the plane was initially flying from florida to worcester on sunday. the problem reportedly stemmed from the flaps on the wings which were stuck in an upward position. the flight landed at logan because it was coming in at a higher speed than normal and needed a longer runway. no one was hurt.

passengers were bused to worcester following the landing. emily: new this morning the f.a.a. and the department of transportation cracking down on drones. randy: the eyeopener's todd kazakiewich is live at logan airport with what we are learning ahead of today's announcement. todd: randy, emily, good morning. as you know, there have been cases of drones flying near airports around the country including here at logan. this morning, the federal government is taking action in hopes of better regulating the devices. an estimated half a million drones are already flying. another 750,000 are expected to be sold during the holiday season. "the wall street journal" reporting the f.a.a. and the transportation department want recreational drone users to register their devices. federal officials plan to appoint a task force to oversee the registration policy. the task force would have to make rules on what specific drones would be allowed to fly near airports or beyond the sight of an operator.

eight-year prison sentence. today begins another chapter where she faces even more jail time. greig faces criminal contempt charge for refusing to testify before a grand jury about whether anyone else help whitey bulger duringth 16 years on the lam. she was convicted last year for harboring a fugitive and identity fraud is in prison serving out that sentence. today's hearing is expected to be a short one. the judge is expected to set a trial date. live at the federal courthouse, sera congi, wcvb, newscenter 5. jim: this morning, the search continues for the suspect in an alleged sexual assault that happened here on the b.u. campus it happened in a dorm room over a very busy parents' weekend sometime around early sunday morning, 2:00. campus police already put out an alert to students warning them as to what went on. the advice they're saying at this point is to make sure their doors are locked. as of right now, the alleged victim said she does not know her attacker. police still investigating by way of surveillance video.

following a weekend amber alert. tiffany cherry was arrested early saturday at boston children's hospital where she brought her son from pennsylvania to be treated for severe dehydration. she'll be arraigned on charges related to the amber alert and other outstanding warrants in massachusetts. cherry's two-month-old son is in state custody. emily: a special memorial today to honor fallen massachusetts firefighters. state leaders and the public will gather at the annual ceremony at the state house this afternoon. the event honors those firefighter lives lost throughout the years, both off and on duty. 24 names will be added to the 2015 ring of honor. donald trump: i'm not blaming george bush; but i don't want jeb bush to say, "my brother kept us safe." emily: harsh words exchanged between republican presidential candidates donald trump and jeb bush. over the weekend, the two debated about who's to blame for the september 11 attacks on the world trade center. bush was quick to respond claiming trump is just an actor

presidency seriously. randy: a bizarre crime under investigation at a church in detroit. police say a man attacked a pastor with a brick on sunday. but the pastor managed to pull out a gun and shoot the suspect. the man later died at the hospital. the pastor was taken into custody for questioning. emily: the u.s. military confirms the death of a top al qaeda commander. the pentagon says the saudi national was killed in a u.s.-led airstrike in syria last week. he was accused of funneling money and fighters for the terror group. the u.s. says his death is a serious blow to al-qaeda and its allies. randy: a month-long wave of violence continues in jerusalem. one israeli soldier was killed and ten others wounded in an attack at a bus station. police say an arab attacker armed with a gun and a knife opened fire. that's as israel tightens security around the country. u.s. secretary of state john israeli and palestinian leaders
