1/10 of one degree below normal for the average for october. a change is coming. all you have to do is look at boston, new york and washington, and at syracuse and sault ste. marie. you will notice the difference tomorrow, clouds gathering in boston as it' s 70 degrees right now. southwesterly wind at 14 miles per hour. now we see 50' s from orange to keen to fit steel and albany because that' s just behind the front that' s going to be moving through in the next couple of hours. by tomorrow morning, a whole different air mass will be over us and you will feel the difference. it will be invigorating, a bit cooler than you might like. 40' s for boston and a few 30' s in the suburbs. tomorrow, the temperatures will rise a few degrees in spite of a lot of sunshine.

wind that is a chilly air mass. friday night and early saturday will be chilly around here. with a clockwise circulation, it does not mean a northeasterly wind around the cape where some low clouds may come in. it' s possible they could be flirting with the coastline on saturday morning. can exchange after that, as we get increasing clouds saturday would be from the west as this front approaches. like many of the fronts recently, it does not pack a big punch and the showers that apart. there were the showers i tonight. that enzyme we get a good deal of sunshine, tomorrow -- that ends and we get a good deal of sunshine, tomorrow. the clouds will thicken overnight saturday night and a couple of showers in western new peter out or they can get here on sunday.

in august 14. it was stage one non-hodgkin' s lymphoma. october 4 he finished his chemo treatment and today he got the news he will be help. it looks like the target date for him returning is why february 19. we just learned moments ago that jerry remy has re-up for two years. he will do a maximum of 120 games, a minimum of 100 games for those two years. there is been speculation that he will have a reduced role that he is back. the patriots and the jets sunday afternoon. number 24 getting ready to go up against jonelle revis. >> i don' t know, he has seen a lot of guys and a lot of star

i' m just a measly little guy. mike: for a high 5 this week, we head out on route 16 and pulled to boston high school with the football team enters the playoffs. this is a program that always aims for excellence, and they usually succeed. they have once again rebuilt and retooled. the high school panthers are defending super bowl champs. they are back in the hunt once again, unbeaten in late october. >> we are very fortunate to have great kids come through, and that' s what it' s all about. it' s the jimmy' s and joe' s, not the exes and knows -- x' s and o'
