venezuela. flames broke out in an engine of the boeing 767 as it prepared for takeoff this afternoon. passengers and crew evacuating by the emergency slides. 15 people were injured. the incident shutting down fort lauderdale/hollywood international airport for hours. a pilot from another airline reporting a fuel leak just before the fire broke out. >> one person sustained serious injuries, burn injuries. we still do not know if that was cruel or a passenger. there were two less serious injuries. -- if that was a crew member or a passenger. there were two less serious injuries. the remaining 12 for what we call walking wounded. heather: dynamic is a small airline that connects fort lauderdale, new york, venezuela and guyana. it began servicing caracas in july after government policies in the economically strapped nation led major airlines to pull out. jc: sky 5 over sullivan middle school in lowell where students were evacuated after many reported feeling sick.

jc: right now a kentucky fugitive accused of shooting a police officer is still on the loose, but two of his friends are now behind bars. floyd ray cook is a convicted criminal with a long history including rape and robbery. last night two of his friends were arrested after a violent confrontation with u.s. marshals in tennessee. officials say cook shot a tennessee police officer last saturday, in an area near the kentucky border. phil: a change of the guard on capitol hill. john boehner is out. paul ryan is in as speaker of the house.

harvey: we had hundreds of thousands of people without power. speaking of damage, these are all storm reports prom -- from the last 24 hours. most of them represent wind damage. by the way, the wind you see around springfield and westfield was the second punch of wind that came early this afternoon and took some trees down over there. and then there was rainfall. worcester picking up over two inches, natick, three inches. here are the more modest but still significant amounts that fell in communities, perhaps near you. right now, we are running 15-20 degrees warmer then we were yesterday at this time. a few patchy clouds around. this is a look at city cam. you can see boston is looking nice, but it is windy. southwest wind at 16 with higher gusts.

jc: it' s a disease that impacts millions, but tonight, a new report shows that breast cancer may be an even bigger problem for black women. >> new statistics reveal that black women get breast cancer as frequently as white women. breast cancer detection and treatment have been improving, but it is an

established fact that black women tend to fare worse with this disease. now, new statistics show more concerns for these women revealing that black women today get breast cancer as frequently as their white counterparts. that' s a surprise, since white women have traditionally been more likely to develop this disease. but researchers at the american cancer society looking at data from a large national health survey even find that in some states, rates are now higher in black women. diagnosed later when more cancer have taken hold, a finding that researchers say might be due to a lack of regular screening and s worse, when black women diagnosis, they are 40% more likely to die than white women. jc: fortunately, there are steps that all women can take to lower their risk, eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. maintain a healthy weight. limit alcohol intake, and talk to your doctor about screening. major drug bust at sea. phil: new at 5:30 the massive amount of marijuana and cocaine seized by a boston-based coast guard ship. jc: a local police department taking a unique approach to tracking down suspects. how they hope social media will help clear their outstanding warrants. phil: and a young boy attacked

with thousands of drones flying for both recreation and commercial use. walmart to just joined google in asking the faa for permission to test drones for delivery purposes. this guy is the limit when it comes to the use of drones for photography to aerial drag racing, to the delivery of emergency supplies or that must have product. they are fun and efficient, but there are also threats to safety and privacy. the faa receives daily reports of potentially unsafe drone operations. pilot sightings of drones doubled between 2014 and 2015. other incidents include the drone crashing into the u.s. open and most recently, a drone carrying drugs and hacksaw blades crashing into an oklahoma prison. the announcement by the u.s. department of transportation and
