1:24 am
because it was there was hardly any wind, we had sun. 64, eight above the average high temperature for the day but 53 in boston. it's 11 above, the average low of 42. get used to the mild weather, at least for this week. look at our temperature trend tomorrow, warmer than today and at least 60's if not 70's as we go through thursday and friday of this week. i know it's november, it certainly doesn't feel that way right now. these were our high temperatures today, look at the midwest, even warmer. that is moving eastward for tomorrow. that's why i say we have a shot at hitting 70 degrees in some spots tomorrow. we are on the warm side of the jet stream and there we shall stay for the rest of this week. each and every day will be above average. along the coast wednesday could be a few degrees cooler with a feeble sea breeze. nothing dramatic or appreciable. a few patchy clouds and the skies are mainly clear. the heavy weather down south

around the carolinas and showers far to our north. notice we're in-between. we don't get either one of those, we stay nice and clear. that's the way it is in boston this evening. 53 degrees, the urban areas like downtown boston retain the heat of the day much better this situation, but once you get in the outlying areas, it does drop off a lot. we are seeing upper 30's, orange and keene, the vineyards 37, we'll have the cool pockets in the 30's, but boston probably only dropped to the upper 40's. all of us will share in the warmth tomorrow approaching or touching 70 around the region, a great day to be outside. high pressure in firm control getting more of a sweatterly wind in tomorrow afternoon. that gives us the warmth. clouds, not a whole lot to be seen. even on into thursday, maybe low clouds early, but otherwise looks ok. perhaps later on thursday we'll get some patchy clouds here, if those clouds hold off long
1:26 am
enough, then thursday will be a fairly warm day and friday will be very sunshine dependent because we have the potential of 70 or higher on friday if we don't have thick clouds and a few showers around. the only thing about all of this beautiful weather this week and the mild weather, we're still in a very dry weather pattern. november has just started. for the year, boston is almost eight inches below the average. check it out for this week, look at the high temperatures through the week, might even be a little conservative on a couple of these. that's how mild we're talking. by the way, the weekend does turn chillier certainly on saturday and saturday night, early sunday will be cold, sunday a chilly day, but a bright day indeed. a couple of things i want to pass along and that is a little bit of a sea breeze is going to develop with light winds and the seas being slightly cooler than the land on wednesday. so the shoreline could be around 60 or so, but inland will be in the 60's. as i mentioned, we might be shooting for records for thursday and especially on friday.
1:27 am
those are some of the records around the region and when they were set and notice the high temperature could be pretty close to that. so maybe even a record breaking warmth this week, but certainly a very, very mild week until temperatures at least temporarily get closer to normal for the upcoming weekend. no significant or major storms are indicated during this seven-day period. heather and ed. ed: you promise, right? harvey: close to. ed: he hesitated for just a heart beat. heather: yes, he did. ed: a dog isn't just man's best some of my competitors plan to reduce the use of antibiotics over the next few years. r but what are you having for dinner tonight? rtry perdue simply smart and harvestland . rtwo trusted perdue brands of chicken raised with
